Olivia Munn Continues Her 'Psylocke' Training For X-MEN: APOCALYPSE

Another Instagram vid of the actress demonstrating her impressive Psylocke skills has surfaced. This time Munn does a wire-assisted flip with a prop sword and psy-blade, and we also have our first look at the purple katanas her character will use in X-Men: Apocalypse...

Olivia Munn has definitely impressed fans with her dedication to giving Psylocke the physicality required to bring the character to life on screen, and in her latest Instagram vid she's progressed to a bit of wire work. There's also a couple of snaps of the actresses having fun with some set visitors, and it looks like we have our first glimpse of the purple-tinged swords Miss Braddock will be using on her opponents in the movie.

I was not happy when she was cast.
I really wanted them to go for an up and comer like Gemma Chan (amazing talented)
Or some established ass kicking Maggie Q type.

I've never been impressed by Munn, but she looks good in the material they've been showing.
Instead of going down the complicated body swap route they're probably going to just say she's half British, half Asian (Munn is mixed race) which I don't mind.

Psylocke is a cool character, bring it on

A character with a Japanese body, wielding Japanese swords being played by a Chinese-American woman?
That's as wrong as an Indian playing Luke Cage.

She looks cool, though. Got dose moves down. Still got dat ass.
S'all good.

None of this training is for the movie, it's just in case Brett Ratner shows up on set with one hand full of shrimp, and the other with his cocktail wienie.

slickrickdesigns@ Message received. I think a Chinese-American Psylocke will work well enough. No complaints from me.

Besides, when it comes to Psylocke, what is more important, race or ass?

I think we all know the answer to that one.

The nerds here are the worst. The guys who have never seen a tit in their lives will in the same sentence talk about how poor this woman is for the role and how they wish she wasn't even around then say they want to bang her. Grow up.

@Killuminatic @Jeight Exactly. The Newsroom was amazing and Munn did a great job in that role.

I love munn. I've been a fan of hers ever since she began on G4 and will be. I'll support her in everything.

She's the only part of this movie I'm excited for.

Word. She played a convincing financial analyst on one of the smartest shows written in the past decade. I think she can handle the rigors of playing a ninja assassin in a CBM.
