Since the dawn of civilization, he was worshiped as a god. Apocalypse, the first and most powerful mutant from Marvel’s X-Men universe, amassed the powers of many other mutants, becoming immortal and invincible. Upon awakening after thousands of years, he is disillusioned with the world as he finds it and recruits a team of powerful mutants, including a disheartened Magneto (Michael Fassbender), to cleanse mankind and create a new world order, over which he will reign. As the fate of the Earth hangs in the balance, Raven (Jennifer Lawrence) with the help of Professor X (James McAvoy) must lead a team of young X-Men to stop their greatest nemesis and save mankind from complete destruction.

From a film stand-point, this looks to be the best CBM of 2016. Incredible performances from Isaacs, Fassbender and McAvoy... And it's only a 2 minute trailer.

I'm kind of disappointed. The way this film was being hyped, I just wasn't blown away by it. Days of Future Past felt more epic than this does so far. But alas, it's only the first trailer so we'll see.

Yeeessss! I'm so hyped for this movie. they actually portrayed their powers pretty comic book accurately, including archangel's shooting feathers, storm's lightening teleportation(that surprised me), and apocalypse's size alteration! So excited!

Trailer looks better than Civil War's and Bat v Sup's ones.

It's okay. The bald shot is a weird kind of pandery thing, I think. But overall, it's a fine trailer.

Days of Future Past's first trailer was much much better, and I ultimately didn't care for the movie. Hopefully this is the reverse.

If you like the previous 2 X-Men movies, First Class and DOFP, then I think your going to like this....

I'm not saying I agree with it, but from a critical standpoint, this could be the highest rated and most consistent CBM trilogy ever

With that information, can RT scores be banned on here? ha

Looks decent. I think it looked better than the Civil War trailer. But we will see. I thought the last movie was a little too confusing. Maybe this one will be a little easier to follow. Too much jumping around in the last one.
