The latest Instagram post from X-Men: Apocalypse director Bryan Singer has revealed a new look at actor Ben Hardy as Angel, by way of a closeup on dailies from the scene in which the winged mutant is taking part in some sort of fight club. Check out the photo after the jump!

We've had a previous look at Ben Hardy's backside as Angel through conceptual artwork and grainy X-Men: Apocalypse set images, but the latest from director Bryan Singer has offered a somewhat better look at the winged mutant's face. In the Instagram post snapped from the filming monitor, we see Angel in some sort of fight club set in East Berlin, 1982, as Singer's photo caption suggests!

SO here's my view. Take it as you will:

Why would you make Angel the Horseman of Death when you have Magneto?

Make Magneto the Horseman of Death, it's not comic book accurate. Fans might protest.

Seems like a tough quandary to be in.

Took her long time to be in Ice-Man/Rogue class. Like twenty years.
