BOX OFFICE: X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST Passes $250M Worldwide After Huge US Debut

With an estimated three day total of $90 million and a four day cume of around $110 million, Bryan Singer's X-Men: Days of Future Past has already passed $261 million worldwide after just a few days of release (and with a budget of $225 million, those numbers are VERY good). The Wrap reports that X-Men: Days of Future Past is now estimated to have a $90.7 mllion three day weekend and a four day total of around $107 million, though some believe it could go as high as $110 million. The Bryan Singer "inbetweenquel" had only a drop of 18% last night, and today is expected to be very good due to it being a holiday weekend. This opening puts it on track to have the second highest debut in the X-Men franchise (behind X-Men: The Last Stand) and the fifth biggest opening for a Memorial Day weekend, knocking out The Hangover 2. The site also reveals that X-Men: Days of Future Past has now crossed $261 million worldwide, after earning $171 million internationally. I heard mixed things about it. I'm sure the QS scene will look great in 3-D but I heard during the future scene with the snow and etc it actually looks like it's snowing in he theater.ill have to see it again in 3-D

I actually liked this movie better than Captain America TWS. I think Bryan Singer should just stick to X men films.

Saw in Real3D and Dolby my 2nd viewing, awesome that way...saw in regular 3D first viewing, still good...usually not a huge 3D guy, but work best in my schedule...

It's an okay movie.
It's one of the best Fox Marvel movies.
It's not a great movie.

I wanted The Winter Soldier to set the box office on fire, because it deserved every penny. I wanted The Amazing Spider-Man 2 to bomb at the box office, because it was an abomination. I have no strong feelings about how Days of Future Past does in the box office.

Sucks that a meh movie like Godzilla had a bigger debut than this much superior movie. It looks like an X-Men movie will finally cross the half billion mark. It deserves to.
