The ultimate X-Men ensemble fights a war for the survival of the species across two time periods in X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST. The beloved characters from the original “X-Men” film trilogy join forces with their younger selves from “X-Men: First Class,” in an epic battle that must change the past – to save our future.

X-Men: Days Of Future Past will be directed by Bryan Singer ("Usual Suspects"). The cast includes: Hugh Jackman, James McAvoy, Ian McKellen, Jennifer Lawrence, Halle Berry, Peter Dinklage, Nicholas Hoult, Ellen Page, Shawn Ashmore, Lucas Till, Evan Peters, Daniel Cudmore, Booboo Stewart, Omar Sy, Fan Bingbing, Evan Jonigkeit, Adan Canto and Josh Helman, X-Men: Days Of Future Past hits UK cinemas on May 22 and US cinemas the following day.

This looks ok, but there is something about Singer and his action scenes that put me off. They seem so boring and non-comic like, doesn't matter which X movie it is. I can't quite put my finger on it (something singer has never said) but they seem so TV quality or something.

These Sentinels don't look like Sentinels. Why reinvent something that has never fully been put on film before? Remember X3? The only good thing from that whole movie was the Danger Room Sentinel scene. Give us that with the full giant Sentinel please.

The teleporting question brings up a good point - why does speed matter when we have a teleporting mutant who they could use? According to director Bryan Singer, Nightcrawler was intended to appear in X-Men: Days of Future Past - so its pretty obvious that Quick Silver replaced both younger Nightcrawler and a younger Juggernaut.

As for the Sentinel situation... it makes no sense at all. They were designed specifically to target mutants that can control magnetism... yet Magneto is seen been able to control the Sentinels using his powers (Pretty much confirming Magneto is what made the Sentinels turn against the humans originally similar to his role in X-Men 2)

So yeah... you done goofed.
