lol. Iron Man 3

I might see the Lone Ranger, the only problems i've heard about it is that the film is too long for a two hour film.

@ManDeth - yea id pretty much agree, although i did like Star Trek.

I think with every disappointment this year ive begun to lean more and more on Wolverine. I reckon my subconscious is now fully expecting it to be the best movie ive ever seen lol.

You've won this round, college humor!

wow that's actually funny.
So far a really good summer.
Best I've seen so far- Man of Steel, then Star Trek, then Fast Six. I'm expecting(actually hoping) The Wolverine jumps past one or two of those films. I have no hopes for Lone Ranger but I'll definitely see it at some point. Pacific Rim looks like pop corn fun.

So far this year has been dissapointing! My top 5 movies so far this year are Man of Steel, Star Trek Into Darkness, Word War Z(WAAAAAAAAY BETTER THAN EXPECTED),oOblivion and Fast 6! But besides these movies the rest have sucked! Iron Man 3 was terrible,LOne Ranger looks like Weirdo Johnny Depp and his cowboy sidekick and I just dont have that much hope for Wolverine!Pacific Rim is the only movie I'm looking forward to now!

I'm really sad about the movies so far this year. IM3 was just ok. Better than the second but I still have no want to see it again any time soon. Man of steel was disappointing story wise so I actually liked it less than IM3. Star trek was the only good one for me so far this year. Hoping Kick ass and thor save the comic movies this year.

I agree i think MOS and IM3 fanboys are so invested they'd have said they liked the movies no matter what.

LOL this was pretty good actually. XD Love the "can there not be a kid? no.", "are you sure you don't wanna see a superhero movie?", and "watch TV".

Enjoyed STID and IM3 greatly, was very disappointed by MOS. Will be seeing Lone Ranger this weekend, won't have any expectations at all so hopefully I'll be entertained. Pacific Rim is currently my most anticipated and I still need to see Monsters U. In no hurry to see yet another Wolverine movie or KA2 so those will likely be rentals. Never saw the first Despicable Me, if it's on Netflix I'll hit it up before deciding if I want to see the sequel. Zero interest in the rest tbh.

Saw WWZ last night and really liked it. Its the best Genre film this year!

Into Darkness was just pointless and boring.

Iron Man 3 was very bad.
MOS was one of the worst CBMs ever. MOS is like the Phantom Menace of CBMs. Its got Die Hard fans in denial and the rest of us see it for what it is.
Phantom Menace was 1 point higher at Rotten Tomatoes than MOS.

Man of Steel was better than expected. Also liked STID (Aka Star Trek 12). What are you guys on? They were great!

Also wanna see Pacific Rim, Kick-Ass 2, and This is the End/World's End.

Lone Ranger will flop, waiting on redbox. Same on After Earth

Just because Man of Steel wasn't the campy, underwear over the pants Superman movie you wanted it to be, doesn't mean it was not good. You probably enjoyed Superman Returns, didn't you?
ManDeth
ManDeth - 7/2/2013, 11:23 AM
@Moohika MOS wasn't good just because it wasnt camp. It sucked because it was a mindless exhibit of CGI and the dumbest superhero battle in live action history.

Then to top it off the stupid writers incompetently attempted to write Superman into a situation were he had to kill to save lives. But all he had to do with fly upward with Zod.

Then the incompetent Goyer and Snyder had Superman scream like a baby after he kills Zod.

Never heard of a soldier or Cop screaming like a baby after their 1st kill. They feel it later but no scream.

Too but Superman didnt care more when he caused thousands of people to die but I guess he didnt realize it. He was too busy to notice.

MOS is an embarrassing disgrace and a throwback to 90's superhero films like Batman And Robin and Spawn.

@Mandeth
First of all Superman has killed before, Batman is the one with the no kill rule. Second, you must not have been paying attention. Zod set the terms, he wasn't stopping until he killed everyone he possibly could. What the hell was flying upwards going to do? Zod was growing stronger and would have just flown away and killed another hundred people in another city. Third, if the filmmakers had just chosen to, let's say banish Zod into the Phantom Zone or something along the lines of that, it would have been lame and predictable so I applaud them for having balls and doing something different.

@ Moohika

MOS
- Superman's ship crashed to earth without anyone one noticing. An object that large is not radar ivisible especially when it's on fire (even green latern had authorities showed up right after Hal Jordon got the ring)

- Super man cant dodge a slow traveling train flying towards him even though he has super hearing and super speed.

- Superman cares more about fighting than saving people. Yes he carried Zod away from his mother but left her there with Zod's generals. What if they decided to off her while he is fighting zod.

- How does Jor-el send a ship to earth 20000 years ago, or are kryptonians very long lived?

- Why is there a superman suit inside a scout ship tailored perfectly to kal's body size? And why are there baby-making kelp inside a SCOUT ship?

- When super man fought with zod in space why doesnt he bring him down to unpopulated areas like arctic/Sahara desert? Instead he brings him back to metropolis and gets more people killed.

- Superman's strength is due to long exposure to sun radiation. But zod gets all the abilities in few days.

- Shy does zod want to change atmosphere of earth and loses all his super powers? Kal is proof that kryptonian babies can survive earth's atmosphere.

The lists goes on and on. Yes there are flaws in every movie but when there are so numerous and glaring it ruins the movie. MOS suffers from over-complication of plot like in DKR that resulted in self-contradiction and giant plot-gap holes.
