With a little over a month to go, Universal Pictures has launched the second trailer for the highly-anticipated Fast X, offering an even better look at the epic next-to-last adventure for Dominic Toretto (Vin Diesel) and his extended family.

While the general plot will revolve around Dom and his Fast family squaring off against Dante Reyes (Jason Momoa), the son of Fast Five villain Hernan Reyes (Joaquim de Almeida), who has been plotting his revenge for the better part of a decade and is now ready to bring maximum pain to the Torettos.

We also get plenty of fresh footage of the crew, who seem to be split up across the globe, as they get into all kinds of trouble and team up with the unexpected to take down the biggest threat they've ever faced.

The massive ensemble cast features Vin Diesel (Dominic Toretto), Michelle Rodriguez (Letty Ortiz), Tyrese Gibson (Roman Pearce), Ludacris (Tej Parker), Jordana Brewster (Mia Toretto), Nathalie Emmanuel (Ramsey), Sung Kang (Han Seoul-Oh), Charlize Theron (Cipher), Jason Statham (Deckard Shaw), John Cena (Jakob Toretto), Jason Momoa (Dante Reyes), Brie Larson (Tess), Alan Ritchson (Aimes), Daniela Melchior, Scott Eastwood (Little Nobody), Michael Rooker (Buddy), Rita Moreno (Abuelita Toretto), Helen Mirren (Magdalene Shaw), Luis Da Silva Jr. (Diogo), and Leo Abelo Perry (Brian Marcos).

The end of the road begins.

Fast X, the tenth film in the Fast & Furious Saga, launches the final chapters of one of cinema’s most storied and popular global franchises, now in its third decade and still going strong with the same core cast and characters as when it began.

Over many missions and against impossible odds, Dom Toretto (Vin Diesel) and his family have outsmarted, out-nerved and outdriven every foe in their path. Now, they confront the most lethal opponent they’ve ever faced: A terrifying threat emerging from the shadows of the past who’s fueled by blood revenge, and who is determined to shatter this family and destroy everything—and everyone—that Dom loves, forever.

In 2011’s Fast Five, Dom and his crew took out nefarious Brazilian drug kingpin Hernan Reyes and decapitated his empire on a bridge in Rio De Janeiro. What they didn’t know was that Reyes’ son, Dante (Aquaman’s Jason Momoa), witnessed it all and has spent the last 12 years masterminding a plan to make Dom pay the ultimate price.

Dante’s plot will scatter Dom’s family from Los Angeles to the catacombs of Rome, from Brazil to London and from Portugal to Antarctica. New allies will be forged and old enemies will resurface. But everything changes when Dom discovers that his own 8-year-old son (Leo Abelo Perry, Black-ish) is the ultimate target of Dante’s vengeance.

Directed by Louis Leterrier (Clash of the Titans, The Incredible Hulk), Fast X stars returning cast members Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Chris “Ludacris” Bridges, Nathalie Emmanuel, Jordana Brewster, Sung Kang, Jason Statham, John Cena and Scott Eastwood, with Oscar® winner Helen Mirren and Oscar® winner Charlize Theron.

The film also features an extraordinary new cast including Oscar® winner Brie Larson as Tess, a rogue representative from the Agency; Alan Richtson (Reacher) as Aimes, the new head of the Agency who doesn’t hold the same fondness for Dom’s crew as his predecessor, Mr. Nobody; Daniela Melchior (The Suicide Squad) as a Brazilian street racer with a powerful tie to Dom’s past; and legendary Oscar® winner Rita Moreno as Dom and Mia’s Abuelita Toretto.

The choice of music it's always bad in these movies IMO.

I prefer the John Wick, The Raid, etc type of movies. Not super elevated high art but at least those films have cooler coreography and cinematography and it doesn't need booty close ups.

@Alucard28 - the reason I liked Hobbs and Shaw more than the whole FF franchise. Its directed by co director of John Wick, and the action choreography is much more smoother and clear than the whole FF series.

the shared marvel universe will never be as good as the shared family of the fast and the furious.

Momoa looks like he'll be a fun villain. The guy can definitely ham it up.

This is just too darn silly. It's gonna be fun, but they really took the franchise too far in the ridiculousness.

Correct me if I'm wrong but didn't Hobbs killed Dante's father in FF5?
