Strange, life-size metal toy army men have started to appear all over Gotham…armed with real weapons. When Batman investigates, however, he discovers they are more than toys, but actual living people trapped inside an explosive shell. The clues all lead back to a former mob accountant named Humpty Dumpty (MATT JONES), who went insane when the Mob tried to silence him before he could testify. Now, he wants revenge, and one of the people he’s targeted is Lieutenant James Gordon!

I really hate this Animation, And how could they get rid of the Young Justice.
With the other type of animation you could do more. Just gets to me how they got rid of Young Justice. Apparently there is some sort of Kick starter campaign to get young justice back.

If I'm not mistaken, not only is this Humpty Dumpty's debut in animation, it's also that of Tobias Whale's. There was a character in Justice League Unlimited named "Steven Mandragora" (voiced by the late Glenn Shadix) who was a homage to Whale. Where there's Whale, there's guaranteed to be Black Lightning.

I couldn't agree more.The computer animation is overused and bullshit.Regardless of how advanced it could get it'll never compare to the young justice/DC animated style.The only thing this show has going for it is the different villains.Kitana?Buff,strong guy Alfred?Crapski.

This looks kind of dumb, don't think I'll be watching this. It is a poor choice to go with CG animation instead of the traditional. Reboot!!

look at all these comment crying over animation, now look at avengers assemble ok animation terrible show,ultimate spiderman ok animation shit show,hulk agents of smash ok animation shit show. beware the batman may have poor cg but when you watch it get into the story you will relize that this is batman.

I might be the only one on here who likes this show. My only beef with it is Alfred.

The animation looks fine to me (it looks a lot better than the new "TMNT" series and that I thought I wouldn't like but it's sort of grown on me)and it's got a nice blend of light and dark (never liked "The Batman" or "Batman: The Brave & the Bold") but while everyone complains about this show, can we least agree that it's 10x better than that awful "Ultimate Spider-Man" show?

I'm down with using lesser-known Bat villains, but they could at least recruit from the 2nd tier. Maxie Zeus, Killer Moth, Calendar Man, Calculator, Dr. Tzin-Tzin, Catman- guys we kinda know.

This show is excellent. We have all the classic cartoons. There's plenty of room for a wacky interpretation. Plus I just like anarky. They have room to introduce the bigger villains later. For now just enjoy the rediculousness of actually having an adaptation of silver monkey.

I like this show. You get use to the animation.
I look forward every Saturday to watch this. I hope they don't cancel it.
At least bring Green Lantern back so it can be part of this cgi universe.

You people will actually LIKE the show if you dont go into it WANTING to hate it, and thats exactly what you all do.
One thing I notice for fanboys is that they just cant let shit go...Young Justice is [frick]in over...we all loved it but its [frick]ing over, let that shit go and give something new a chance...dam. If Fanboys were in charge of everything we probably wouldnt have even gotten Young Justice cause you wouldnt have let Batman TAS go.

Its a good show when you dont try to hate it.

I watched the first two episodes, and I was surprised about how much I liked parts of it. The writing is decent, the new set-up with mentor Alfred and future partner Katana is interesting and the new villains are at least something unusual.

It's just that it really looks like... well, a really cheap CGI kids show. With different visuals I actually believe Beware might have the potential to be my favourite Batman centered show since TAS (never liked The Batman, although it got better later, and Brave&Bold was just stupid fun), but I can't look at it without cringing.

I see a lot of people complaining about the animation and yet they offer no kind of explanation as to why they dislike it.

Don't like it? Fine. Like 2D animation more? Fine. But at least have a valid reason instead of just being idiotic and saying "it sucks" or "it's terrible."

I don't love the show, I didn't care for Batman's voice at first, and I don't like that they won't have the Joker in it, but I still enjoy it.
