1.) This isn't our first glimpse of Cyborg
2.) The original article does not say Cyborg is the leader of the team, merely that he's been made a founding member of the Justice League as part of the new 52 and that he will be "front and center" to take on the bad guys. Not that he will be leading the team.

Synopsis is as follows:
An adaptation of Mark Waid's "Tower of Babel" story from the JLA comic. Ra's al Ghul steals confidential files Batman has compiled on the members of the Justice League, and learns all their weaknesses.

K fine they want to promote some c list character for whatever reason, so they put him in the JL comic and put him in JL Doom even though he wasent in the Tower of Babel, even though he clearly does not belong with the heavy hitters and the most popular heroes such as Superman and Batman, fine! dont like it but I'll bear with it. But this is too much.

Making him the freakin LEADER of the Justice League? WTF? That means he's leading and telling freakin Superman and the GD Batman what to do. Cyborg is nowhere NEAR the same level as the likes of Superman and Batman, or Flash and GL, powerwise and popularuty wise.

hhhhhmmmmm who should lead us? Batman with his brilliant mind? or Superman with him being the greatest hero in the DCU? Or maybe even the Flash or Green Lantern who are also well respected and powerful heroes? NNNAAAHHHHH!!! Lets go with some nobody who cant even carry his own title and is some little dweeb who used to be on the team of sidekicks.

Before you guys fly off the handle, did you actually go to the site?

It says he'll be front and center to take on the bad guys.It doesn't say he'll be the leader.

Not sure of the art work though, Supes looks pants!! - think they should have given the artwork more of a 52 update!!!

Such Bat-haters in here. Yall talk so much trash but real talk, if Batman wasn't a force to be messed wit, how come no one has takin him out yet? Secondly, he is the ONLY person on that team fit to be a leader, examples? Outsiders, Batman Inc. Robin, Batgirl, etc, I stated this on another page as well. Superman isn't a leader, people hide behind him cuz he has the most powers, that's all. I don't agree with Cyborg bein the leader but stop the Bat-bashing, facts is facts people, like them or not.

Not getting too excited for this. I've enjoyed many of DC's animated features. But the truth is nothing has ever come close to the quality of Mask of the Phantasm.

Guys, Cyborg has enough experience to be leader of the Justice League. He plays a big part in the New 52 and Flashpoint. Without Cyborg, Batman and Flash would've never completed Project:Superman. Without Cyborg, Abin Sur would've never been great allies with Earth. If Obama makes a good president, Cyborg makes a good founder/leader of the U.S.A. Then you guys can at least see the movie before commenting with negative comments about Cyborg. Miles Morales makes a good Spiderman, why can't Cyborg be leader?

I'm sure there are enough scenarios where any one of them could lead or else they wouldn't be in the league.
