Reports Deadline, DC Nation will be "populated with event programming, interstitials, exclusive behind-the-scenes of theatrical production and an insider look into the world of all things DC." Warner Bros. Animation will produce the block.

Here is a breakdown of the Cartoon Network shows announced that are CBM appropriate:

The Looney Tunes Show: Screen icons Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck are back, starring in an all-new modern comedy series from Warner Bros. Animation featuring all of the favorite Looney Tunes characters—Porky Pig, Speedy Gonzales, Yosemite Sam, Foghorn Leghorn, the Tasmanian Devil, Marvin the Martian, Tweety, Sylvester, Granny, Gossamer, Lola and Tina, Daffy’s new no-nonsense girlfriend. Fresh designs coupled with a vivid, contemporary animation style enhance the timeless wit and charm that make these classic characters so beloved around the world. The Looney Tunes Show will premiere on Tuesday, May 3, at 8 p.m. (ET/PT).

New Ben 10 Series [Title TBD]: Ben 10 has been one of Cartoon Network’s most successful original series since first premiering on the network in January 2006. The franchise has since spawned four animated series, one animated movie, two live-action movies, a widely-popular consumer products line and has captured the imaginations of viewers on a global scale.

ThunderCats: The re-imagined animated series based on the beloved 80s classic tells the tale of a hero’s epic journey to fulfill his ultimate destiny. On Third Earth, the kingdom of Thundera is being threatened by the evil sorcerer Mumm-Ra and young heir to the throne Lion-O embarks on a great quest to take his rightful place as king. The unlikely champion, joined by his faithful comrades Tygra, Cheetara, Panthro, WilyKit, WilyKat and his loyal pet Snarf, must work together to save their world from darkness.

Green Lantern: The Animated Series: Based upon the DC Comics super hero, the series is an all-new CG animated action series from Warner Bros. As Earth’s Green Lantern, Hal Jordan is used to being in dangerous situations—but he’s never faced anything like this! Set at the farthest reaches of deep space, Hal must face down an invasion from the Red Lantern Corps. Hal is soon joined by an all-new group of heroes on a mission to protect Guardian Space —and the Green Lantern Corps itself!

DC Nation: A multi-platform, branded block of original programming and exclusive content based on the DC Comics library of legendary character properties, DC Nation is developed in partnership with Cartoon Network, Warner Bros. and DC Entertainment. The all-new venture will harness the publishing, theatrical and television assets together for one powerful on-air block on Cartoon Network with exclusive online content.

Additionally, Clone Wars has been picked up for a fourth season.

Bruce Timm's cartoons are always awesome. Can't wait for GL animated series! Young Justice has been awesome as well.

I've been hearing we will get a trailer within 48 hours, could be false! Most news stuff like that is. Probably just speculation.

If Looney Tunes has to be all PC it is going to suck.

The Rd Lanterns being on Carton Network sounds interesting.

That article doesn't mention that Young Justice will air a 10 episode miniseries called "Invasion" in late 2011 or early 2012.

RunDTC
RunDTC - 3/23/2011, 12:28 PM
does anyone else hate "Young Justice"? I hate the voice of Robin, Superboy has no emotion and is just a mini-Hulk, Aqualad was a white dude when I last checked, Miss Martian is incredibly annoying and I've never heard of the chick with the arrows. the only thing they got right was Kid Flash. he's the best part of the show. they line-up of the team SHOULD be:
Robin(either Grayson or Drake)
Cyborg
Starfire
Superboy
Beast Boy
Kid Flash
Raven
Aqualad
Wonder Girl(Donna Troy or Cassie)
Speedy/Arsenal/Red Arrow
THAT'S what the team should be.
what DC should really do is take all the people who work on the show and make a Justice League show with the same animation style and voice actors.
LMFA0
LMFA0 - 3/23/2011, 12:40 PM
@rundtc
They had to make the characters different races and genders in order to please the demographics. If I was just all white superheroes and one girl then they think they would lose the black kids and the girls... Thats why Artimis replaced speedy and aqualad is black, although I've seen him black in other things before
Jediluke17
Jediluke17 - 3/23/2011, 12:47 PM
I guess since Cyborg isn't in the series, Aqualad got elected as the token black for the series. I hate it when TV shows feel the obligation of including a Black or Asian character just for the sake of it. I mean, I got nothing agaisnt the race is just that the characters are so one-dimensional and feel forced upon us just to make minorities feel good. If they create a character, make it interesting and solid. Reminds meof the Thor movie. "Hey, let's make Heimdall Black so people won't say we don't give minorities a chance!"

Freshkicks1212 - 3/23/2011, 12:57 PM
@runDTC no way that line up kinda sucks think about it realistically it will only result in the show being compared to teen titans.
and robin's voice is just great, it grew on me so im used to it now.

My only problem with the show is the way how everything thing in the plot of basically all the episodes so far has to be about the LIGHT.
plus every episode they're just randomly introducing new character although i love that, it seems as if the show is not linked with the previous episodes because we havent seen the league again or any other villain for the previous episodes e.g The Blockbuster monster.
But still im going to give the show a change because only 9episode of 26 have been released so far.

comicb00kguy - 3/23/2011, 1:12 PM
That Looney Tunes thing is going to be stupid, and yet another whoring out of those classic characters. I really think one of the biggest problems in the world today is that kids are growing up without Looney Tunes, the Three Stooges, or the other timeless funny shows that most kids love. I grew up with those classic characters, and I firmly believe that all kids should have the chance to enjoy them also.

And I really am worried about this new Thundercats, with the "r" word associated with it ("re-im*gined"). NOTHING good comes out of things associated with that word. I wish it and the concept behind it could be banned from the English language. The Thundercats had a great concept behind it. All that we need are some new stories with those guys, not to change it all around. I'll still give it a chance because I really enjoyed the 80s series, but my expectations are low.

Leee: I would love to see a new Static Shock series, or to see him show up in Young Justice, at least as a 'guest hero'. He's a good character that deserves some air time.
Freshkicks1212
Freshkicks1212 - 3/23/2011, 1:19 PM
@Jediluke17 yes you are being racist because as a kid growing up watching tv these small things about the race of a character never mattered or bothered me in relating to them and I believe the same goes for kids watching today.
Its only fanboys like you with a set ideology in American racial prejudice that are bothered by these little things. And it goes both ways look at the number of movies in which Caucasian persons were cast for non-caucasian roles for example the Prince of Persia movie.

Anything Bruce Tim does is pure gold, so I cant wait for GL series. Although i wish they would move the story along in young justice. WTF is the light.

adamcawa - 3/23/2011, 1:40 PM
@runDTC you mention that Aqualad wasn't black (although in some incarnation he was) but fail to mention that Miss Martion is green?

THAT'S RACIST!
Suzanne
Suzanne - 3/23/2011, 2:01 PM
So does this mean that Tower Prep, Young Justice, Batman the Brave and the Bold, and Super Hero Squad have been cancelled since none of them are listed?

If you watched Young Justice they explained why they have this Aqualad on the show and who the girl with the arrows is. The original Speedy is on the show. Wonder Girl wasn't allowed to be on the show in the beginning because of a lawsuit. If they went with your line up the show should be called Young Titans because your cast is a combo of Teen Titans and Young Justice.

DC nation sound like a weak move on the part of WB and DC. I'm not a fan of DC comics, but i still respect a great deal of characters that they don't use. We got a really good but YJ cartoon but the rest of the stuff sounds like it's been there done that.
@Robin you can not have Thundercats w/o Snarf! Sorry!
SkaarJones
SkaarJones - 3/23/2011, 2:11 PM
@runDTC - Young Justice is awesome. My favorite animated show currently on. I like that it is a bit of a different angle on Teen Titans. I would like Cassie, but I think Miss Martian takes her place here. The show is great. Relax and enjoy it. If it was Teen Titans they would call it that.
RunDTC
RunDTC - 3/23/2011, 3:04 PM
@ Suzanne: if you look at my suggested line-up, all but 2 members of the team were a part of the team in Teen Titans #1, from like 2003 or something. Aqualad wasn't on the team because he had become Trident (I think?) and Speedy was with Nighwing on the Outsiders as Arsenal. the team would work.

@TheGoshDarnedRobin: HA HA!!!! just made my day...

@SkaarJones: I was hyped for the show when I heard about it. but since then I've been disappointed. and who or what are/is the light people at the end of every episode? are they The Guardians and everyone's gonna become a Green lantern (that's a joke, btw).

others: I by no means am implying anything borderline racism. I know (because I'm related to them) some racist people and I hate it when they act the way they do. when God made man, he didn't make one race better than the other. they are all equal. enough said.

other thing: I'm not sure I necessarily agree with the notion that a character is added to a show or movie to attract a certain type of people. I just don't buy that.

@Jazzman, it's the other way around. Jackson was based off of the first character concept of Kaldur'ahm from the show that we got at Comic-con (Although Geoff Johns probably saw the art sooner). Just sayin'. They're entirely different characters from what I understand, though. I prefer the dreads to the bleach & buzz that Kaldur has.

Young justice is a solid show, way better art style than Avengers. I'm hoping they grow it into teen tightens to widen the cast. That said outside of green lantern how is this a DC lineup?
