looks awesome ! i love captain marvel. but it will only be 4 shorts? the superman/cap one the other 3 (jonah hex, green arrow and spectre) extended? it will be less than an hour !...i want more captain marvel

@LEEE777- IDK man, I have the discs with The Spectre and Jonah Hex, and I'll probably have the one with Green Arrow by the time this one comes out. I'm not really sure if just ONE new short is enough for me to pay 20 bucks for 3 I already have. I think two or three more new ones would have been enough to put it on my "to buy" list. Not one though.

@SUPERZERO I agree, man. I'm in the same boat. But I think the Spectre, Hex and Arrow shorts are extended from the previous releases. (Looks like Marvel is unfortunately taking a page from the wack book of George Lucas)

Does anyone know what dvd The Green Arrow short is on?....

I honestly dont know why this particular story (Capt. Marvel/ Black Adam) is a short. It definitely has enough depth to warrant a full lenght feature. I mean come on, 3 names.... Capt. Marvel, Black Adam AND Superman!!!

@jimdrums- not to rub it in but Superman is vulnerable to MAGIC. Which Black Adam's got in spades...

@fistsofjustice- I believe it's on the next release Superman/Batman: Apocalypse.

You are correct. The Green Arrow short will be on the Apocalypse disc.

Did anyone hear about the Green Lantern: Emerald Knights animated coming out next summer? Apparently, it will be an anthology film that tells a series of stories featuring various members of the GLC.

i'm definately going to buy this!!
asuming that all the shorts last around 20 min, then the total run time will be 1 hr and 10 min, which is basically the approx. length of DC's animated movies.

@jimdrums I don't know man Black Adam is pretty powerful. His powers are magic based which is one of Supermans few weaknesses. So he's stronger and faster then Superman and Captain Marvel. Captain Marvel shares his powers with Mary Marvel and Captain Marvel Jr. Black Adam has all his powers to himself so it would take both of them to possibly take him down.

The Superman/Shazam "short" is going to be longer than the other three. Combined, I suspect they'll be as long as a standard animated DC movie.

@longbowhunter....like rsalas said really the only good part of 52 was the Black Adam story...i remember being really excited for the 52 series and then really disappointed with how it played out. But yeah Black Adam was awesome in that series.

I don't think I ever read WWIII though, i need to read that.
