Warner / DC really just don't get it anymore. Over 30 years of reading the comics and this reader for one feels the heart has gone from their creative team. Ok, yes, the Batman movies have been great but pretty much everything else they have produced as been average or below.

You guys have obviously not seen the DC Nation shorts. Some of them are pretty silly.

This seems like a good follow up to Superman of Tokyo.

I just wish they'd put all the shorts on dvd. I also wish they'd go ahead and show they ones I've been waiting for (Doom Patrol, Shade, Amethyst, etc.)

this was cool when i saw it on cartoon network...i just never realized it was batman. I just thought they ripped off the design for bane's mask on that 1 guy lol. SO weird! but maybe fun as a short

Looks like DC, along with other COMPANIES, are attempting to make some sort of connection with the youth of China. Considering how the Western economies are all but finished, this is clearly about catering to a future audience who'll eventually have more pull than that of the West.

@LaputaHeir, like to theorize conspiracies much? Also, why all the hate? This is simply a creative new take on a long recycled comic world and frankly it's a breath of relatively fresh air. It looks bad ass and I can't wait to see what Batman looks like (assuming, as this is a three part series, that he's in it).

@kemuael-Where is Marvel with their animation? At least DC is trying something different with their animation. Marvel has not made a good cartoon since 90's x-men.

That was cool. I liked the animation and action.

Why are people complaining so much about this? It's just a DC Nation short, not some new animated movie or series. The DC Nation shorts are weird and different and fun. That's probably the whole point of them.

That's some great animation. It's funny how DC purists are calling this blasphemy and the Marvel fanboys are calling it a fail. the thing I love about these DC shorts is just the balls-to-the-walls wackiness they demonstrate like the Superman of Tokyo and Animal Man.
