In KUNG FU PANDA 2, Po is now living his dream as The Dragon Warrior, protecting the Valley of Peace alongside his friends and fellow kung fu masters, The Furious Five. But Po’s new life of awesomeness is threatened by the emergence of a formidable villain, who plans to use a secret, unstoppable weapon to conquer China and destroy kung fu. He must look to his past and uncover the secrets of his mysterious origins; only then will Po be able to unlock the strength he needs to succeed.

Puss in Boots – One of the most beloved characters of the Shrek Universe – tells the hilarious and courageous (daring, bold, brave) tale of Puss’ (Antonio Banderas) early adventures as he teams with mastermind Humpty Dumpty (Zach Galifianakis) and the street-savvy Kitty (Salma Hayek) to steal the famed Goose that lays the Golden Eggs.

Kung Fu Panda 2 is set to be released on May 26 and Puss in Boots will hit cinemas a few months later on November 4, later this year!

I'm not a fan of the Shrek franchise, but Puss In Boots looks very good.
Aaaand I loved the first Kung Fu Panda, so I'm planning on seeing #2.

Dreamworks is worse than Fox when it comes to milking their products. Shrek is the perfect example of a series gone dry but continues getting milked to death.

Pixar FTW.

I'm glad that "Puss in Boots" has actually gotten made. I mean: I was unaware that it even officially go the "okay" to be made. Having said that, there is something I want to point out. "He's been a bad kitty" sounds a little obscure, especially with a character named "Puss" being the one that has been "a bad kitty". Just sayin'.

I could care less about either of these films, I'm way over the whole Shrek movies, enough is a enough.

The Puss and Boots one reminds me of the Old Spice guy.

I LOVED Kung Fu Panda (which is sadly one of the only Dreamworks film I like besides Shrek & Shrek 2 & Shrek 4, Chicken Little, Over the hedge, How To train your Dragon, and The Prince of Egypt. Every thing else was either boring, terrible, or just a down right ABOMINATION!!) I hope this is a surpior film to the last. I hope it's not a failure like SHREK THE TURD!!

@Slashercon Chicken Little was Disney...think you might mean Chicken Run.
The Dreamworks movies I liked are Over The Hedge, Kung Fu Panda, Bee Movie, Prince Of Egypt, and Madagascar 2 was good too. The rest of what I've seen were just...meh. And no, I haven't seen HTTYD yet. :P
Pixar FTW.

Also, Jack Black is over-rated and not funny.

How the hell did the sneak an entire movie together without telling anyone about it? I've never heard of Puss in Boots being in development. Weird. I'm not really hating the idea though which I'm surprised abouut.

I was watching the last SHREK movie and noticed that the CGI was [frick]ing incredible. There's this part when SHREK first meets the Rumplestilkin dude and the sky is cloudy and evrything is rich and heavy. Best CGI I've seen in any of those movies. I could barely pay attention to the story I was marveling at it so much.

@the World

Yes...Shrek was in Comic Book form. First by Dark Horse (I think), and most recently by Ape Entertainment. Not sure about Kung Fu Panda.
