If you love watching the classic Spider-Man cartoons such as Spider-Man The Animated Series, and Spectacular Spider-Man I hope you got your fill. Disney has announced that it is pulling those two cartoons in preparation for their newest animated series featuring Spidey titled, Ultimate Spider-Man. The move has been confirmed by a representative for Disney XD to Toon Zone, and was made to avoid confusion with the new series.

When asked if the other series would be making a return after the premiere of Ultimate Spider-Man, the representative said they did not expect it anytime soon. Other programming such as The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes, X-Men, Fantastic Four, Silver Surfer, The Incredible Hulk, and Iron Man will remain on the air as this move was made with Spider-Man related cartoons only.

Ultimate Spider-Man will center around a teenage Peter Parker juggling the typical growing pains of high-school with the not-so-typical growing pains of being a Super Hero. As the newest member of Nick Fury's S.H.I.E.L.D. organization, Peter finds himself on a team with four other teenage Super Heroes. It stars Drake Bell as Peter Parker/Spider-Man, Chi McBride as Nick Fury, JK Simmons as J. Jonah Jameson, Stan Lee as Stan the Janitor, Clark Gregg as Agent Coulson, Steven Weber as Norman Osborn, and will be debuting this April on Disney XD.
