Movieweb.com is apparently buzzing over the fact that there are no plans for a "Toy Story 4" movie. I would have loved to see if it could be topped. I highly doubt that's even possible at all given the blockbuster success of the third. The fact it earned over $1 billion, which is extremely rare for any movie to do let alone an animated film.

"Toy Story 3" producer Darla K. Anderson was asked about "4" while the Los Angeles Producers Guild of America and Women In Film was honoring her for her body of work. We began by asking Anderson if "Toy Story 4" was being considered? "You know we have no plans for it at this point," she answered. Surprised by her reply, we followed up by confirming that there are no current plans to make a forth film. "No we're really not. We really worked hard at bringing 'Toy Story 3' to a conclusion," she said.

Many fans will surely be brokenhearted to hear that the popular film series has come to a conclusion. Fear not because you haven't seen the last of those loveable toys!
"We do have the short films that we are working on because we love the characters so much and want to keep them alive," said Anderson. "One of the short films will be on the front of Cars 2 next summer," she continued. "It's a short film with the Toy Story characters and you'll see a lot of the old favorites and stuff." We followed up by asking if the short film will take place after the events of "Toy Story 3?" "We can't talk too much about it but it involves all the new Toy Story 3 character and the classic characters too," Anderson teased. "So it's very cool but there are no plans for a Toy Story 4 at this point," she reiterated.

So there you have it, guys. It isn't going to happen.W hat if it did? Would you guys have liked to see all the old toys again for a 4th installment or are you happy it isn't going to happen?

I don't care. TS 3 ended with the toys with a new owner because their old owner Andy is a man now.

Whats the point to make the fourth? Cause the story ended in the third, which in my opinion was a great ending!:)... Dont mess it up just to make money!

short movies are better way to go.

I loved the 3rd, and was really worried it was going to suck. I'm very happy with how the story concluded. If they ever made a Toy Story 4, it would just be greed taking over. Naturally, I'd still go see it ;P

Well if a Film is very popular then any other past ones made then I think Toy Story should have a 4th one as Shrek got a 4th one.

Plus before they made Toy Story 3 disney said clearly they were aiming for a 3 & 4 to come out.

So if they wanted this to be the last one they should of said so.
