A heartwarming tale about a boy and his dog. After unexpectedly losing his beloved dog Sparky, young Victor harnesses the power of science to bring his best friend back to life—with just a few minor adjustments. He tries to hide his home-sewn creation, but when Sparky gets out, Victor’s fellow students, teachers and the entire town all learn that getting a new “leash on life” can be monstrous. A stop-motion animated film, “Frankenweenie” will be filmed in black and white and rendered in 3D, which will elevate the classic style to a whole new experience. In Tim Burton’s “Frankenweenie” young Victor conducts a science experiment to bring his beloved dog Sparky back to life, only to face unintended, sometimes monstrous, consequences.

The movie features the voice talents of Winona Ryder, Martin Short, Catherine O'Hara, Martin Landau, Charlie Tahan, Atticus Shaffer, Robert Capron and Conchata Ferrell and will hit theaters October 5th, 2012.

I found it kind of funny when I went to see The Avengers, this was the only trailer that got any kind of noticeable audience reaction.

Burton hasnt made a decent movie since sleepy hollow. I hoped at least Alice would be cool, but that gargled nuts too. Willy wonka ,dark shadows...is someone actually paying him for this shit?

How can we even give a s.hit about these characters if even if the trailer they offer nothing TO care about. If your dog dies, you're bummed, if someone elses creepy looking dog dies, are you interested enough to sit thru a whole movie about it. Burton needs to get over his creepy awkward art style long enough to at least make a dog that is at least cute enough to care about.

In my eyes Burton's made three good movies, the batmans, half of one to sleepy hollow and the other half to beetlejuice. Beetlejuice gets the half for nostalgia

I think it looks kinda cute. It may be a fun one. I like stop motion. Though some of the character designs were creepy. But sort of in a good way

I liked the first trailer better. I'm hoping this turns out good.

I really liked the original movie when I was a kid. Definitely not your average story of a boy and his dog.
