Seth MacFarlane, creator of FAMILY GUY, the popular Fox Network animated comedy that was famously resurrected in 2005, will be providing a cameo on the similarly canceled and resuscitated Fox Network original, FUTURAMA. FUTURAMA, which is (supposedly) wrapping up its final season on Comedy Central, has acquired MacFarlane to play yet another cartoon version of man's best friend. MacFarlane, who is known for voicing family dog Brian in addition to Peter and Stewie, will provide dialogue for Fry's dog Seymour, which fans will recall from the heart breaking 2002 episode, JURASSIC BARK. Executive Producer of FUTURAMA David X. Cohen told ew.com, “Since Seth voices Family Guy‘s talking dog, Brian, we thought it would be funny to have him blatantly rip himself off for our benefit. As an added bonus, the only person he can sue is himself, so we’re off the hook.” Sarah Silverman is also set to reprise her role as Fry's girlfriend, Michelle. Catch the episode when it airs August 14th.
