I wasn't even aware that this show was in development! Heavy Metal - released here under its original French title, Métal Hurlant Chronicles - was my first exposure to any type of real sci-fi/fantasy stories as a kid, not to mention a mild bit of comic book erotica. There was already a 1981 animated feature which adapted several of the magazine's serials, but this will be the first live action adaptation. Check out these teasers, a poster and some stills (mainly featuring Kelly Brook you'll be happy to hear) from the new series, which will premiere in France in November, then move onto the UK and Germany. No release date for the US yet..
