The latest micro-episode of The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes, courtesy of Disney XD, focuses on the events following episode 2, The Coming of Hulk.

Watch below as the Jade Giant takes on the Absorbing Man, before facing against General Ross's Hulkbusters. And in the end finds himself face-to-face with two fellow Avengers.

Whenever watching these mini-episodes, I think of how well they can translate to film. With this episode, the "smart" take on Hulk works out, as well as watching Hawkeye take on the Hulk (sort of). Awesome!

You can check out previous & upcoming mini-episodes that Marvel.com will unveil daily up to when Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes assembles October 20 on Disney XD, below.

Iron Man is Born!
The Coming of the Hulk
The Man in the Ant Hill

I seriously think this is how the Avengers movie is going to play out... Minus Ant Man... But the storyline behind these shorts and why and how the Avengers are coming together makes plenty of since...

@ralphmouth

yeaaaa marvel baby :D

i used to like dc and i still kind of do but i look at there universe as really unbalenced when it comes to there powers and really dumb characters. it really shows how dumb and corny there superheros are when they get put in movies. they cant make a movie from there superheros without changing anything big and that [fricks] up there whole movie

So when are these things running? I looked at the schedule today for Disney XD on DirecTV and didn't see any listing for anything Avengers related. All I saw that was less than a half-hour was a Phineas and Ferb music video.

I have to say I'm really enjoying these "micro-episodes" so far. This is the Avengers that I want to see! It reminds me of the classic runs in the comics from the 70s and 80s. I only hope that the show itself is as good as these "micro-episodes" have been.

I will take your word for it, but the link to wiki that you showed me just has the name of the first micro-episode "Iron Man is Born!" listed there. it doesn't say anything about cutting and pasting that episode with all of the other Ironman episodes (IE "Hydra Lives!, Behold the Mandroids!", etc) together. Again though, I'll just take your word for it.

So too bad they can't have mutants in this, so they could really expand the universe and eventually get into things like the skrull invasion and Civil War. But I like it so far, I hope they don't cancel it or only show it once every fifth blue moon like Wolverine and the X men.

@ComicCritic87

This is a micro series, not the main series. This series of 20 mini episodes will air before season 1 begins. These are the events that lead up to the prison break in episode 1 and 2 that cause the Avengers to work together as a team. The footage and story lines used in this micro series are completely unique to the micro series.

If you look at the link you provided these episodes are listed AS a micro series, with season 1 following after.

@mania...if you go down to season 1 you will notice episodes 3-7 say they are compilations of the micro episodes featuring certain characters per episode.
