Mighty impressive eh? The 24"x36" prints are currently sold out, but you can still buy the 11"x17" ones over at Iaccarino's website, where some more of his great work is on display. The live action adaptation of Akira is currently "stalled" at Warner Bros.

I think 'a' live action film could still work, as long as they stick to the core of the film/manga.

JIZZ!... Epic!:D

If i had millions i would produce the damn live action adaptation myself and get Takashi Miike as the director.
Seriously he would be great.

Studios never have to worry about ruining this as a live action movie, we already had a decent take with Chronicle. Same basic idea, good flick.

Akira is perfect the way it is. After Chronicle, I think studios should just give up on making a live action adaptation.
