Marvel Studios has debuted the first concept art poster for Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania, revealing the latest Kang the Conqueror Variant along with a first look at Cassie Lang suited up as Stature...

Marvel Studios' Hall H panel hasn't yet kicked off as we write this, but the first big surprise has already found its way online courtesy of Marvel Studios Director of Visual Development Andy Park.

That is the first concept art poster for Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania, and as well as the title characters, we have a first look at two huge new additions to the MCU. Those are Jonathan Majors' Kang the Conqueror and Kathryn Newton's Cassie Lang who, we see here, is suited up as Stature (we're assuming that's the codename she'll use, anyway).

Interestingly, Park refers to Kang as simply "Kang" rather than "Kang the Conqueror." We don't want to read too much into that, but can't help but wonder if this Variant has yet to earn that title. Regardless, he looks awesome, and it's great to see the villain showcased like this.

As for Cassie, that purple costume looks great and is paired nicely with a pair of sneakers. There's no indication of what powers the teenager has, but if she follows her comic book counterpart, we expect Cassie to increase in stature!

It's worth noting, though, that when Scott Lang's daughter wore a purple costume in the comics, it was with the codename "Stinger."

Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania's plot recently leaked online, and we're inclined to believe it was real based on what can be seen here. Regardless, brace yourselves for even bigger surprises when that Marvel Studios panel kicks off at Comic-Con a little later this evening.

You know, the concept of Kang can really make or break this phase depending on execution. So a lot is riding on this movie.

@cyclopsprime - I am aware. But I'm talking about the overall execution, which we aren't gonna tell until the movie is released.

That kang looks like Some fanart around the web, digging the new costumes and stature looks Nice, wouldve prefered more pink suit instead of purple, if she gets a team with Kate bishop they're going to look too much alike

People say kang is stronger and better thanos if he’s better thanos and able beat thanos by himself how is it kang shows up less in comics and thanos shows up more in marvel comics as main villain and kang has appeared in comics until Loki show

@dragon316 - Because Thanos was always more of a fan favorite and Infinity Gaunlet is an iconic event in Marvel history.

At best, Kang was pretty much always a b-list villain. The fans that really know the stuff, KNOWS how awesome he is as a character and the threat Kang can be. But he was never really treated on a mass market scale and you gotta remember, Avengers used to be a b-list team as well.

Guarantee there will be more of him across all media going forward, and especially if Kang is treated with the same respect Thanos got on film.
And I only hope the same eventually happens for Doctor Doom.

@dragon316 - Spiderman has more powerful villains than Green Goblin and Venom. Batman has more powerful villains than the Joker. Kang being more powerful doesn't mean Thanos shouldn't have been used first.

Kang looks incredible! Wasp finally in a brighter colored costume, and Stature in her Stinger purple suit.

Just read Kang: Only Myself Left to Conquer and it was a beautiful swan song to the character of Kang. I really hope they use some of those elements for the film(s).
