The Wasp Flies Into Action In Officially Released ANT-MAN AND THE WASP Concept Art

Ant-Man was a lot of fun but fans were definitely disappointed that The Wasp didn't get to fly into action. On the plus side, Hope Van Dyne proved to be a breakout character and her future was teased right at the end of the movie and will now pay off in a big way with Ant-Man and The Wasp. Thanks to Empire Online, we now have a much better look at the hero flying into action in some concept art.

We got a first look at this earlier this week but due to it being a scanned image, it was split in two and not the best quality. This version, on the other hand, really shows off The Wasp's powers as she grows in size, uses her blasters, and makes good use of the wings her father didn't give to Scott Lang.

The character isn't expected to appear in Avengers: Infinity War but we do know that she'll be showing up alongside Ant-Man for Avengers 4 next year (how big her role will
be remains to be seen, though). What do you think of this concept art? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.

Curious to know the strength level of her stingers in the mcu.
In the cartoon and comics, she was not afraid to use them on powerful foes.
They've shown iron man's repulsor rays completely knock out humans or blow holes in em, and they knock Asgardians off their feet. We don't know yet what it would do to someone like cull obsidian but seeing how it barely affected hulk, I'm thinking we're seeing the limits to Tony's rays.

Will wasps rays compare to Tony's?

I know this movie will be something special and it will be a nice distraction from Avengers 4. I’m truly hyped for it. I hope they do something special although from the past trailer it looks like they did.

I hope they'll be in full costume a lot in this movie. These new suits look fantastic.

The forgotten movie of 2018. I'm sure all two dozen people looking forward to this will be happy.

@blackandyellow - I'm pretty sure Dark Phoenix is the forgotten movie of 2018. As in, every time I see an article about it, I think "Oh yeah, that's also happening"

@blackandyellow - Pretty sure there are more people looking forward to this than X-Men: Dark Phoenix and Venom, and possibly Aquaman. Unless you only mean MCU, in which case is hard to compete with the Infinity War hype.

What is with this guy and reposting other people's stories? It seems like half the stuff I see from this guy is something that another editor has already posted. Seems like he is just looking for credit for everything...
