The Ant-Man mid-credits scene made it quite clear that Hope van Dyne (played by Lost's Evangeline Lilly) would follow in the footsteps of her mother and become a new incarnation of the Wasp, though when exactly that will take place remains up in the air. The two-part Avengers: Infinity War is the likely candidate, as Kevin Feige explained that the character is not making an appearance in Captain America: Civil War. Well, whatever plans Marvel has for Hope appear to be developing, as the actress revealed to fans on Facebook that she's been fitted and scanned for her own superhero costume.
The official word was that Hope was supposed to be included in Civil War alongside Paul Rudd's Scott Lang, but the large cast of characters in the film meant she would be underserviced, so Hope was removed. Considering there's already a Wasp suit ready to go, perhaps we'll see Lilly return sooner rather than later... an Ant-Man sequel slotted in to Phase Three, anybody?
