Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania hits Digital tomorrow, April 18, and 4K, Blu-ray and DVD on May 16, and Collider has now shared an exclusive behind-the-scenes featurette spotlighting Corey Stoll's motion-capture performance as M.O.D.O.K.
The Mental Organism Designed Only for Killing was reintroduced as Kang's henchman after suffering a defeat by Scott Lang at the end of the first Ant-Man movie and "rebuilt" in the Quantum Realm.
He was mostly utilized as comic relief and was arguably responsible for one of the threequel's funniest moments ("I got to die an Avenger!"), but the FX used to bring the character to life came in for a lot of criticism.
“It could go one way, it could be like a real pain with dots on your face and you have this camera and you don't really know what you're gonna look like," says Stoll of the process. "But it was so incredibly satisfying. It's in some ways, I feel like the ideal way to act because, even though the whole performance is so based on technology, you're not waiting for lights, you're not waiting for camera, you're not waiting for sound, you're not waiting for hair and makeup even.”

In Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, Super-Hero partners Scott Lang (Paul Rudd) and Hope van Dyne (Evangeline Lilly) return to continue their adventures as Ant-Man and the Wasp. Together, with Hope’s parents Janet van Dyne (Michelle Pfeiffer) and Hank Pym (Michael Douglas), and Scott’s daughter Cassie Lang (Kathryn Newton), the family finds themselves exploring the Quantum Realm, interacting with strange new creatures and embarking on an adventure that will push them beyond the limits of what they thought possible.
