I think it would be cool to see some of this stuff in a later season of agent carter

So looking forward to Ant-man. I can't stand prequel comics though. I hate that they exist.

They could put Hank Pym in Agent Carter and we see how she trained him and then they make a spin-off with Antman doing spy misions and stuff

A boring comic for a boring movie. How fitting.

Looks great. I hope they show some flashback in the movie too.

@COREY6487 yeahhh more than likely there won't be another season. But, if there was it would be cool to see some of that early SHIELD interaction with heroes like Ant-Man.

Just a little wishful thinking

I never seen a Marvel movie with so few interest in the threads than this one...

Or maybe just an entire Agent Carter-like mini-series of one of Pym's missions in the 60's would be cool

@localsonlymills

I'd like that scenario. Either get a young actor who resembles Michael Douglas (assuming they cast such a person, provided they haven't gone with "digital de-aging" like Tron Legacy) or use archive footage from the film to incorporate into the Agent Carter show.

There's something very Stan Lee to how he narrates exactly what's going on.

I would love a season 2 of Agent Carter with Hank Pym in the cold war. Bring one the Winter Soldier as well!

More love for Agent Carter than Ant-Man in this thread. Shows how much people are indifferent to the film.

There's plenty of love for both Agent Carter and Antman in here. In fact most have said they want them to team up in future seasons
BigDriggs
BigDriggs - 2/26/2015, 4:45 PM
And there will be another season of Carter, no doubt.
HAILHYDRA

And @wannabe loses all credibility in terms of reviewing movies. He's already made his mind up before he's seen it so in a few months when he's on here bashing it, pay him no attention.

Also that's just like, Wannabe's opinion, man.
DallasAvenger

@Wannabe Maybe it has something to do with Marvel fans not having to get super excited for movies more than a year away. With Agent Carter just ending, AOS about to return, Daredevil in a month, and Avengers in two months maybe the excitement is a little muted. Come June let's see what excitement levels are at. And again this article isn't about the movie Ant-man, it's a preview for the second issue of a prequel comic. A lame concept to begin with.
HAILHYDRA
HAILHYDRA - 2/26/2015, 4:51 PM
You though last year was all Marvel. This year will be epic. 2 movies and 4 TV shows. Not to mention the FOX FOUR.

Agent Carter is definitely set up for another great season.

@markymark it would be a legit opinion if he'd actually have seen the movie. He hasn't. So he's trolling.

I hope they actually cover the wife beating. Otherwise, it will seem rather weak for why audiences shouldn't want Pym back in his suit. It's like skipping ahead to Terry Mcguiness instead of showing Bruce Wayne as Batman.

The analogy is not even slightly broken. The Marvel Cinematic Universe is being sculpted from both ends. We don't have a complete or definitive past, nor a clear view of the "present" as time is relative to every series. However, we do know that the comic this article is about takes place during the soviet era. Making the "present"--wait for it-- the future.

So my comment:
"I hope they actually cover the wife beating. Otherwise, it will seem rather weak for why audiences shouldn't want Pym back in his suit. It's like skipping ahead to Terry Mcguiness instead of showing Bruce Wayne as Batman."

..about said comic is valid. And since when does being a "retiree" mean a character in a cartoonishly unrealistic world is incapable?
