While still making rounds for The Hobbit: Battle of the Five Armies, Evangeline Lilly talked more about her role as The Wasp Hope Van Dyne in Ant-Man. More precisely, when CNN asked the actress about her experience on the Marvel adaptation, she reiterated how she was surprised by the amount freedom the studio had given her. "I've been astounded to discover how good to their teams and crew that Marvel are," said Lilly. "They're so collaborative, so smart with their stories. They have rich, dynamic characters which are so much fun to play. I expected I'd be a cog in the wheel of a big machine -- I wasn't sure I'd like this experience. But I've been so astounded at how pleasurable the whole experience has been." When asked about her character, Evangeline Lilly explained that, "She is the daughter of the founders of The Avengers, Ant-Man and the Wasp. She is a very talented, intelligent, capable woman and a force to be reckoned with." She continued, "[Ant-Man] is very much a heist film. It has all the fun, tension and drama of a good heist film. The heist is being masterminded by myself, my father and Scott Lang." It's somewhat interesting that Lilly declares Hope Van Dyne as a mastermind of the heist given only Hank Pym and Lang are mentioned in the synopsis. Anyhow, the actress also told People magazine that she's a bit of a pick-pocket on-sets. "On Ant-Man, I took a rubber stamp from the office of Hank Pym, who's played by Michael Douglas. If something is small enough to go in my pocket and it will be neat memorabilia, it's gone." Furthermore, It's also worth mentioning that, during yet another interview via the Huffington Post, Evangeline Lilly hinted at future Marvel commitments in 2016; even though she later implies not knowing the specifics of her multi-picture contract. What do you think?

Armed with the astonishing ability to shrink in scale but increase in strength, con-man Scott Lang must embrace his inner-hero and help his mentor, Dr. Hank Pym, protect the secret behind his spectacular Ant-Man suit from a new generation of towering threats. Against seemingly insurmountable obstacles, Pym and Lang must plan and pull off a heist that will save the world. Directed by Peyton Reed, Ant-Man stars Paul Rudd, Michael Douglas, Corey Stoll, Evangeline Lilly, David Dastmalchian, Michael Pena, Bobby Cannavale, Abby Ryder Fortson, Judy Greer, Wood Harris John Slattery and Gregg Turkington with multi-hyphenate T.I., and the film opens July 17, 2015

I just hope they mean it when they say it's a heist movie. Not too fond of false advertising, especially from the actors and actresses.

That's how you get the good movie prop memorabilia and help with the retirement fund.

She seems like she's dying to tell us she's the Wasp.

Y'all think she will become Wasp? I dunno… Seems like Marvel might skip over Wasp. Was it confirmed she will be?

I'm way more excited for this movie now than I was before comic con, I'd actually put it in my top 10 most anticipated for next year.

And I definitely can't wait to see THIS badassery on the big screen:

I'm a massive Edgar Wright fan and was devastated when he walked but having read the various reports that his movie would have been a 'stand-alone' and not feel part of the MCU, I'm beginning to think that it might've been for the best.

Hoping that both HVD and Lang feature in numerous Phase 3 installments, Civil War and Infinity War Parts 1 & 2 being the most logical options.

So Antman and Wasp helped found the Avengers. They were in the movie, but the camera forgot to zoom in on them.

@Ezio

That's definitely a good sign then, especially since Kristian was one of the more skeptical ones regarding this movie
