Paul Rudd Picks Up ANT-MAN Filming In San Francisco
There's not much going on at the San Francisco set of Ant-Man, but photos and some video feature 'Scott Lang' actor Paul Rudd as well as director Peyton Reed, and producer Kevin Feige. Check it out!
The second day of filming for Ant-Man picked up on the streets of San Francisco, where Paul Rudd, who plays Scott Lang in the Marvel heist film, was wearing the same gear (sans the hoodie, gloves, and eye bandages) and gripping the same backpack he had in the first official production image from earlier today. There wasn't anything major being filmed, but various Instagram photos and videos showcase exterior scenes with a simulated rain effect and Scott Lang walking through crowds of Frisco pedestrians. As Flickering Myth reports, there were additional exterior scenes shot that focused on unknown actress/extra as she walked her dog through the fake rain. Apparently, there were also "old-school" delivery trucks which indicate that was a flashback scene.
Armed with the astonishing ability to shrink in scale but increase in strength, con-man Scott Lang must embrace his inner-hero and help his mentor, Dr. Hank Pym, protect the secret behind his spectacular Ant-Man suit from a new generation of towering threats. Against seemingly insurmountable obstacles, Pym and Lang must plan and pull off a heist that will save the world. Directed by Peyton Reed, Ant-Man stars Paul Rudd, Michael Douglas, Corey Stoll, Evangeline Lilly, David Dastmalchian, Michael Pena, Bobby Cannavale, Abby Ryder Fortson, Judy Greer, Wood Harris, John Slattery and Gregg Turkington with multi-hyphenate T.I., and the film will release July 17, 2015
