During his appearance on Late Night with Seth Meyers, rapper/actor T.I. was asked what his role in Ant-Man was and how did he feel to be a part of that franchise. His response was similar to what we’ve already heard before, but he revealed that it was exciting for him to be in a superhero movie, and that he didn’t “put on a costume or nothing” of that sort. Shortly after that, he also said that he plays “his [Scott Lang’s] homie. I’m Ant-Man’s Homeboy." Once Ant-Man is released, it’ll be really interesting to see what T.I.’s role is in the film. Will he actually turn out to be a superhero? Or will he just be a supporting cast member? What do you think? Sound off below with your thoughts!

Armed with the astonishing ability to shrink in scale but increase in strength, con-man Scott Lang must embrace his inner-hero and help his mentor, Dr. Hank Pym, protect the secret behind his spectacular Ant-Man suit from a new generation of towering threats. Against seemingly insurmountable obstacles, Pym and Lang must plan and pull off a heist that will save the world. Directed by Peyton Reed, Ant-Man stars Paul Rudd, Michael Douglas, Corey Stoll, Evangeline Lilly, David Dastmalchian, Michael Pena, Bobby Cannavale, Abby Ryder Fortson, Judy Greer, Wood Harris, John Slattery and Gregg Turkington with multi-hyphenate T.I., and the film will release July 17, 2015

T.I's relevancy kinda declined after he got arrested the second time lol. T.I. Vs. T.I.P. is still a good album though.

That being said, I hope he dies in this film.

My guess is that we'll see the Wrecking Crew as perhaps the security force for Darren Cross.

If that's the case then I'd wager he's playing Eliot Franklin aka Thunderball.

T.I. isn't playing a superhero. Marvel won't give him Bill Foster, lol.

Make him Bill Foster, then have him killed off in Civil War per the comics.

Giant Man was rumored to be in Civil War. Maybe TI or Wood Harris is playing Giant Man. It would make sense according to the history of Marvel superheroes and their token Black/African-American sidekick.

Hopefully they let Scott Lang take another Pym alter-ego and become GiantMan. Then they can kill off Scott Lang in Civil War. I am pretty sure geriatric Hank Pym is going to die at the end of Ant-Man. I am not sure someone that old should be alive, let alone in super hero films. Without Hank Pym in his ear telling him what to do at every turn Scott Lang would be useless. He has no ability to comprehend the powers he is using or use them properly without Pym. There would be no room for growth of the character. Scott has no ability to advance the powers Pym gave him on his own. He is an idiot con. Randomly throwing in a masters in electrical engineering means dick when it comes to understanding Pym Particles and Pyms other inventions. So the best thing they can do is just kill of geriatric Hank Pym and the junkie/felon Scott Lang and use the time gem to bring back a young Hank and Janet to join the Avengers. It would be a lot easier than super-imposing everything about Hank and Janet onto random made-up characters and trying to shoe-horn them into the MCU like they are doing with Scott and Hope.

You don't know any of that yet. The movie's not even out. It could be brilliant.

It took you 22 tries to make that comment? lol Just open up a word document next time and edit your comment in there. Anyways, I do not have to see the film to know it will be terrible. Saying otherwise is flawed logic. If they decided to remake Harry Potter and announced they were going to entirely remove the character of Dumbledore or Ron or Hermione I don't think anyone would say "wait and see - it could be good." I don't need to have been a soldier to tell you war is bad. I don't need to see Ant-Man to tell you it's going to blow ass. It has no Janet van Dyne, a geriatric Hank Pym, a Pymless Yellowjacket that shoots lazers out of it spider- arms (? why yellowjacket would have spider legs idk), and the main character is Scott Lang. lmao That's all I need to know to make my decision. ;)

It could still be brilliant. And no, I didn't have 22 tries. This site is wonky.
