...there was a Marvel geek in the audience that asked about AVENGERS 2. “I can’t do any bigger, so I’m trying to do better,” was Whedon's response. When a follow up asked what his philosophy would be in approaching the sequel... Joss said, "Death, Death and more Death!"

He words it like there was going to be a lot of death and despair in the sequel but he really said "Death" three times and the movie only had a tally of 3 total deaths (Quicksilver, Ultron, Dr. Cho), not quite so much death as I expected. Not complaining, I really liked the movie, just feel that that needed to be pointed out.

Dr. Cho isn't dead, it's possible that Ultron isn't either

@KingPatel thank you :)

@MPambassador @DrKinsolving yeah, there is actually a rumour going around that Ultron will ultimately end up becoming the MCU's Magus (I did have a rumour round up that included that in it, but CBM removed the article for some reason :( )

I probably won't be able to comment until later, but if you have a chance, and want to share, I want to hear your thoughts about Quicksilver's death. I agree with you on just about everything, haha, so I think you could add some insight

AOU rocked but Quicksilver's death is one of the major things that turned me off

The only good thing I see about it, is that it adds some more depth to Scarlett Witch's character, but I think it would have been more effective if their relationship was established more, and Quicksilver met his end later on, closer to the Infinity Wars

I doubt Ultron's coming back. He looked like a one-time deal, the movie was more an Infinity War ad. They emphasized how the drone at the end was the Last Ultron', hence the point where he says Vision was suppose to be the last. His network was fried, cutting him off from escaping into the Internet, and all the bodies were gone.

Definitely, I heard about that, there were a few articles on Magus, here's one

Maybe that's why they took it down

Wait... Quicksilvers dead?

In all seriousness having a quicksilver portrayed as a guy who can do wonders in the blink of an eye in one film and then killed by bullets in another is rubbish. Those bullets would never of struck him, its crazy, why do speedsters always get it in the neck.

kinghulk - 8/7/2015, 6:02 AM
if ultron does come back he should come back in infinity war (cameo) or GOTG 3, part of ultrons conciousness was in vision so after thanos rips out the gem maybe ultron takes over and then takes control of the phalanx so we can have annihilation conquest.

Here's a 'what if' scenario:
Doctor Strange deals with the time stone. He and Scarlet Witch use the time stone to bring back Quicksilver.

It'd be reasonable I think

It's MCU.

No one dies. Not even civillians when half a city is crushed by aliens.
It's disney. No crime is fought untill after an environmental impact survey.

You know what? [frick] Whedon for this. Quicksilver had so much potential in the MCU. Only thing that came out of it was Wanda "killing" a weak ass Ultron, as if he could feel pain. Actually, it seems like Clint and Wanda were the only ones that cared about Quicksilver.

Whedon really pulled a [redacted], where we have to watch another movie to witness the fallout of an event (Pietro's death).

UltimateLegend- how so i assumed the phalanx where with marvel and ultron is so they can do annihilation conquest just not annihilation. if fox have the phalanx then that is just annoying.
