Lou Ferrigno Confident In Another Solo HULK Movie After THE AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON
While Mark Ruffalo reacts to Joss Whedon's script for The Avengers: Age of Ultron, the original Hulk actor Lou Ferrigno insists without a doubt that a new solo film will follow the superhero reassembly.
Following the positive response to the Incredible Hulk in The Avengers last year, speculation ensued surrounding another solo adventure for the Jade Giant. There were even credible rumors of Marvel Studios adapting the Planet Hulk storyline and leading into a World War Hulk Movie. But of course several Marvel guys have since smashed those rumors. So, we don't know exactly what's in store for Mark Ruffalo's Bruce Banner and "the other guy" after assembling with The Avengers again in the 2015 Age of Ultron. Nonetheless, speaking with Flicks And The City recently, the original Hulk actor/bodybuilder Lou Ferrigno is pretty darn sure another solo movie is in the pipeline at Marvel:
Lou Ferrigno most likely isn't in the know when it comes to Marvel's unannounced flicks, but the studio's president of production, Kevin Feige, did declare not too long ago that if there are plans for another Hulk movie, they'd be after The Avengers sequel. And there are three 2016-17 Marvel films without titles right now, so who knows? Anyhow, Mark Ruffalo took to Twitter a couple days ago to reveal he had received Joss Whedon's script for the Age of Ultron. Today, the actor simply tweeted (and later deleted) "Wow!" with Marvel's and Whedon's Twitter handles. What do you think?
Starring Robert Downey, Jr., Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Cobie Smulders, Jeremy Renner, Samuel L. Jackson and James Spader, with Aaron Taylor-Johnson and Elizabeth Olsen in negotiations to join, The Avengers: Age of Ultron is directed by Joss Whedon from his screenplay, and is slated to begin production in March 2014 and release on May 1, 2015.
