Hot Toys has unveiled their Iron Man Mark XLV action figure for Avengers: Age of Ultron, a suit which won't return in Captain America: Civil War. Even so, this was no doubt one of the character's best big screen looks to date. The movie-accurate Mark XLV Collectible Figure is highly-detailed and sophisticatedly crafted based on the image of the armor in the film featuring a meticulously sculpted armored body, specially applied metallic red, gold and silver colored paint with weathered effects, LED light-up Arc Reactor with hexagonal-shaped indent on chest, and a specially designed diorama base with a detachable damaged Ultron Sentry (Prime)! Will you guys buy this one?

I'd like to see the numbers for how many of these they sell. I'd think the market of people willing to spend $300 for a toy is pretty limited.

Complain about the price some more. That's the point.

They keep making them, so somebody's buying, folks.

LMAO Gus. Well there was that one doll you spent $300 on. The one with the special hole.

I wonder how the production and distribution works for these, or if you can buy them in stores?

Maybe, they are ordered first, and then they made them and send them out

A lot of high priced guitars and instruments are like that

What a real beauty. Would never spend so much money on a figure, but whoever does, will no doubt enjoy a beaufitul piece of art right there.

@blackandyellow,

Oh God...

I shouldn't have seen that.

I shouldn't have read that description.

And I REALLY shouldn't have seen the bidding.

£200.50.

£200.50!

THAT'S POUNDS NOT DOLLARS!

SO £200.50 = $310.27

THERE ARE SOME SICK SICK PEOPLE IN THIS WORLD!!!

Compared to that, any Hot Toys figure seems like a snip...

Looks WAY better here than it did in the actual film. CG was rough man.

I like it, but in general I prefer the more angular and robotic look for Tony's suits than then more curvy organic look.

@AlexanderLykins

Yup. Mark VII is still the best, hands down

You've come a long way, baby...

Actually, I think all of the main Iron Man suits have been pretty spectacular. Ripped right from the page in the best possible way.

The 2nd suit looked better, what annoyed me was no focus on it. Usually when he changes suits in a movie there's SOME focus on the suit itself; like in the first avengers when he activates the mark 7 prototype, it was something of a cool big deal.
