This Awesome Iron Man Hulkbuster LEGO Set Will Burn A Huge Hole In Your Wallet This March

Toy Fair took place in New York City this weekend and you can check out a detailed look at LEGO's new Avengers: Age of Ultron Hulkbuster set after the jump. The question is, will you be able to build it?

Avengers: Age of Ultron was a fun movie but the highlight arguably came when Iron Man donned his Hulkbuster armour and took on The Hulk in one of the Marvel Cinematic Universe's most epic battles to date. Tony Stark ultimately emerged victorious (well, sort of) and the armour will make its return in Avengers: Infinity War. However, it will be Bruce Banner who wears it then to take on Thanos' forces.

Now, LEGO has unveiled a Hulkbuster set - based on Avengers: Age of Ultron - which goes on sale next month. Standing over 25cm high, it includes an Iron Man Mark 43 exclusive
minifigure and has both glow in the dark elements and a light which is sure to make it stand out on any collector's shelf.

It's not going to be cheap but there's plenty of extras included and it's going to take even the most die-hard LEGO fan a while to put together. To check out all the new images of this Hulkbuster armour, all you need to do is click on either one of the buttons below to see the full gallery. Would you be tempted to pick this up? As always, be sure to let us know your thoughts on that in the comments section.

@Kevwebsz - Try 1,363 pieces. Not sure what the cost is but third party licensed legos usually sell at 11 cents per piece vs. a non third party licensed set at 7 cents per piece. So I'm guessing this model will cost $150.00. Maybe less since each individual piece is so small.

Lego has to be making the coin.

Horrible, horrible scale. By using a minifig, this is saying the thing is about 40 feet tall.

@Tensorpants -
This isn't to scale. This is just to display.

@Benjamitesandwich - Your coupled statements imply that being "for display only" means scale can be thrown out the window. I beg to differ. Even for Lego's weird minifigure proportionate scaling, this is ridiculous. This silly little playset was much more accurate https://brickset.com/sets/76031-1/The-Hulk-Buster-Smash

@Tensorpants - True but its all about the coin.

So Hulkbuster is still referred to as mark 44? And the iron Man armor needed to fit in it is still mark 43? I think they just recycled the mark 43 from a previous set. I wonder if iron Man will don the Hulkbuster at all in IW. Seems like someone else is.

So how much is this going to be? I had to read the article a few times just to make sure I didn’t miss the price tag.
