Aaron Taylor-Johnson while in an interview with the British newspaper Metro, told that he mainly likes to star in 'action packed' films, he also talked about what he excited about in his newest film, Avengers: Age of Ultron"He's this Eastern European orphaned guy with a twin sister and loads of back story and that's where I can really have some fun and explore." With that said, now we know that much more about the two twins that will be starring in the film next year.

After that talk then turned to Aaron Taylor-Johnson's other action-packed film, Godzilla. He discussed how he had not only had to get physically ready for the role but mentally."It was the same with Godzilla, where I'm playing this guy in the military, which was an interesting challenge for me. I had to physically train to put on size and look and sound different - get that military lingo they have. It's a whole different kind of mentality,"

Aaron Taylor-Johnson has been in many action packed films so far, Kick-Ass, Godzilla, and the upcoming 2015 blockbuster, Avengers: Age of Ultron. Do you think this role as Quicksilver will be Aaron's biggest role yet? Sound off below with your thoughts!

With S.H.I.E.L.D. destroyed and the Avengers needing a hiatus from stopping threats, Tony Stark attempts to jumpstart a dormant peacekeeping program with Ultron, a self-aware, self-teaching, artificial intelligence. However, his plan backfires when Ultron decides that humans are the main enemy and sets out to eradicate them from Earth, and it is up to Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, the Hulk, Black Widow and Hawkeye, along with support from Nick Fury and Maria Hill, to stop him from enacting his plans. Along the way, the Avengers encounter the powerful twins, Pietro and Wanda Maximoff, as well as the familiar Vision.

He is going to do a good job as quicksilver.

Nothing will top the Xmen/quicksilver scene.

I think this kid would be good in the lead of a remake of Krull. Just saying.

I have a strong feeling that the final act is going to take place somewhere in Europe. Anyone else think so? And this would shed light on the twins protest scene in the trailer (France Flag)

I really wonder if he is given his powers, or they are born with them... They might be trying to harness their abilities. I hope they just leave them open ended at this point.

I had to physically train to put on size and look and sound different.

I had to laugh when I read that line. Aaron's voice is just unchangeable, still sounds like Kick-Ass. lol or should I say Ass-Kicked (laughs) *crickets*

He is the only thing I'm worried about in this movie. I have yet to see him do anything but be bland.

I'm ready to be wrong, though.

I like that they just settled with a generic visual effect on his quicksilver. Thanks to X-men:DOFP!

Evans Peters Quicksilver wasn't anything like the comic book version at all. He more like Impulse. I am hoping to see the real comic version in Avengers Age of Ultron with him being protective and close to his sister and very combative with me vs. the world mentality.

@RamonSuarez

I agree with u.

The real Quicksilver will be seen in Avengers:

1 - Will come with his sister, Wanda.
2 - It is Eastern European (Maximoffs place where they lived)
3 - Are orphans (From where they got that mother to Quicksilver in XDOFP ... so many wrong things: costumes, him past etc)

@Chcl- I'm pretty sure it's an exclusive clip.. And most likley the party scene where each Avenger tries to pick up the hammer. I don't think we'll be getting a new teaser though...

@Chcl

Yeah, basically the praise for Singer's version of the character was one special-effects laden scene. His characterization and design for Pietro was all off. Would have like to have seen an East European hothead who is close to his sister.

Only people who didn't read comics though Singersilver looked, acted, or behaved anything like his comic counterpart. But why are we surprised? This is the same studio that gave us Barakapool and made Wolverine leader of the X-Men over Cyclops.

jCamer0n - 10/28/2014, 8:11 AM

I love how the marvel zombies cry out that the characters in their beloved MCU is "close to the source" but give all kind of alibi when it comes to the deviation to Ultron's origin.
jCamer0n
jCamer0n - 10/28/2014, 8:12 AM

MCU's claim of respecting the source is just a mere hallucination!

MonsterSquad35 - 10/28/2014, 8:12 AM
I honestly don't think the Xmen DOFP Quicksilver was anything speacial, just thought that scene was badass.

I though he looked like Jim Carrey.

Pietro and Wanda have enough change of clothes in the movie. I saw the trailer: when they appear with Ultron, after the clothes we saw on set in Italy, and when Quicksilver saves Captain America from a drone (the gif above) he is a different one. Don't know why they are doing mystery with Wanda. Her final suit should be awesome!!!

@RamonSuarez

Just bc Evan Peters Quicksilver made some innovations and liberities doesnt make it less relevant. It worked for Days of Future Past. Ultimately you do whats best for the movie. I dont see how making any subtle changes is different than any comic book since the beginning of time

He was nothing like Quicksilver at all. It just wasn't a few liberties. He wasn't European born into a [frick]ed up country, his sister is a child, and he acted like a spastic kid with ADD.

The only thing people hang their hat on is that he had a nice special effects scene.
