It's previously been (all-but) confirmed that Bruce Banner (Mark Ruffalo) will be the one suiting-up in Tony Stark's Hulkbuster armor in Avengers: Infinity War, and now we may also have a pretty good idea how he'll be getting himself out of it!

An image of the Hulk-Out Hulkbuster toy has popped up online, and if what the promo art depicts actually does take place in the movie, at some point we can expect Banner to go a little green while inside the armor and smash his way out.

There's a decent chance Bruce will be attempting to keep the "other guy" at bay after the events of Thor: Ragnarok which is why he puts on Stark's mega-powerful suit in the first place, so it's possible that the first time we actually see The Hulk is when he bursts free.

It'd certainly be quite an entrance!

Once we learned Banner was inside, there's only one way he gets out... Marvel has given us such incredible visuals, there's no way they'd pass on the opportunity to have Hulk rip out of it.

Most likely as we or a villain think the Hulkbuster is done for... NOPE, SURPRISE!!

@CuddlyCereal - I'm guessing Banner will be unable to turn into the Hulk (kind of a reverse of his problem in Ragnarok). And since he can't turn into the Hulk, Tony sends him to protect Wakanda with the Hulkbuster.

But something in that battle triggers him and he is able to turn back into Hulk to defeat Cull Obsidian and the Outriders invading Wakanda.

@Emeraldbeast62 - It would be but I'm sure they'll spoil it in the previews kinda like the "He's a friend from work" scene in Ragnarok. That scene would have been awesome if it were a total surprise instead of showing it in every single trailer.

@PBIRD - That sounds fun and all, but it goes against his character. We just saw him trying to take on Surtur in Thor, the demon who is literally bringing an end to Asgard. I just don't see Marvel going from that Hulk to one who hides in Banner because he got his butt kicked. If anything, getting beat down would make him even angrier and wanting to fight. Just my two cents.

As a big Hulk fan I approve this message.


The best way for Thanos to have an immediate impact and be seen as a threat is to punk the baddest mofo in the yard. And they don't get much badder than the big green guy.

@PBIRD - The Hulk's potential to beat Thanos lies in his unbelievable strength. Hulk's strength is beyond measure and can scale infinitely with his rage. According to the Marvel Wikia, Hulk has a higher level of durability than Thanos. Thanos could certainly beat the Hulk when he isn't very angry and has his Infinity Gauntlet. Without it...Hulk smashes his ass.

@LongMayHeReign - I know Thanos is gonna do his thing, but Hulk willwind up getting even with Thanos in the end. Marvel won't let that slide. If they do, they miss a big crowd moment with the fans.

@PBIRD - can I also say wow to Marvel and this set up; if anyone who holds an INFINITY STONE just gets Obliterated other than the Celestials, Peter Quill (of Celestial decent) joining hands w the Guardians being an exception, AnD being true to the comics, Considering the Collector and the Grand Master are Celestials as well, if/when we are Told that Thanos is a Celestial as well I'm going to lose my shit bc this has just been a freaking EPIC interconnected story, like goddamn

@TomSolo - Thanos, while he is considered god-like isn't invincible. He has been defeated at least a dozen times. For instance, Squirrel Girl has beat him. The list is Warlock, Thor, Deadpool, Drax just to name a few. The Hulk also smashed Thanos punching right through his head.
