Marvel's The Avengers is the Super Hero team up of a lifetime, featuring iconic Marvel Super Heroes Iron Man, The Incredible Hulk, Thor, Captain America, Hawkeye and Black Widow. Spanning the globe, a daring recruitment effort begins. Starring Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner with Samuel L. Jackson and Tom Hiddleston, directed by Joss Whedon, Marvel's The Avengers will be released May 4, 2012.

Along with RDJ as Tony Stark and some other actors in CBMs, I would say that Evans is one of the best casting choices we got in recent years. He was absolutely perfect as Rogers/Cap and I can't wait to see more of him in The Avengers. Great find bud!

@Wolvie: I agree, he played Cap perfectly, and it looks like he'll keep that humble attitude in The Avengers. I still remember when people thought he would be a douche in present times like The Ultimates.

I'd have to say Hemsworth and Hiddleston might actually be up there on the list two. It's not easy to play a thunder god and Chris did amazing. Tom as Loki was one of the best casting choices in my opinion.

@JerBear thats true, but thats also the biggest problem. People will always focus on the bad aspects of a film, that is what sticks in their mind. A lot of ok films get passed off as c/rap becuase of a few minutes of really bad plot/script/direction/specialeffects etc.

I think Tom did great as Loki, and cant wait to see him in Avengers. It will be interesting to see how he plays the 'full on bad guy' as opposed to the conflicted family black sheep etc.

And i agree with you all, Chris Evens did an awesome job of making Cap as honestly good and still kick ass.

Think their casting choices has been the golded fleece for Marvel's movies.

Im glad Chris Evans' performance shut up alot of people that were downin the choice of him play Cap cause of the comedic typecast he associated with. He was excellent.

Tom Hiddleston as Loki just rocked. Every time he screams "Tell me" and then his subtle "what?", I feel that complete and utter pain Loki goes through as he realizes his life is a lie. (Possible poor sentence structure)
