Now that most of us have seen the new trailer for Disney and Marvel Studios' upcoming comic book adaptation The Avengers directed by Joss Whedon, what did you think of it?

Let me start by saying that I love that new trailer. It's a perfect teaser for what is yet to come. Not only did we get to see Marvel heroes working together, but there is also our first look at the live-action Hulk at the end of the trailer, and the VFX look amazing. So, what do you think of the trailer?





Starring Robert Downey, Jr., Chris Hemsworth, Tom Hiddleston, Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Samuel L. Jackson, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner and Cobie Smulders, The Avengers is set to hit theatres on May 4, 2012!


Continuing the epic big-screen adventures started in "Iron Man," "The Incredible Hulk," "Iron Man 2," "Thor," and "Captain America: The First Avenger," "Marvel’s The Avengers" is the super hero team up of a lifetime. When an unexpected enemy emerges that threatens global safety and security, Nick Fury, director of the international peacekeeping agency known as S.H.I.E.L.D., finds himself in need of a team to pull the world back from the brink of disaster.

You know what I didn't like about it?

Tony Stark. He's all over it. He's the Avenger to get most lines, and when someone else does, it is a reaction to Tony making a quip or a set up for Tony to make a quip.

@frankgarret. Why is there always someone on here finding faults. unbelievable. enjoy the trailer, look forward to the film, dont look for useless complaints.

plus if they do overload the trailers with ironman its probably to do with the fact that ironman/ rob downey is the most successful film franchise/ box offce hit/ bankable star out of all the marvel franchise. makes sense really.

Why does it always have to be Marvel vs. DC? I'm super excited for BOTH movies, they BOTH look awesome, and I will definitely see BOTH. Why are we comparing them? They aren't really similar at all. We should be happy we're getting good superhero movies, no matter which company they come from.

I can't consciously enjoy something or not. I either do or I don't. And I didn't.

I think the trailer was pretty damn spiffy if you ask me. It's literally an all star team. Its like a major sport all star game happening for the first time. There has been nothing like this in big screen form before. I hope this pans out well.

liked it but I am somewhat disappointed. Too much Ironman, I wanted more Thor and Cap, especially Hulk action.

And people gotta get over their DC vs Marvel petty, it's just dumb. Both are the best at what they do.

I am going to see this movie, and I think it is going to be pretty damn good. However, for me the trailer was underwhelming. There really isn't much we haven't seen before. I did love Loki's monologue before it saying how people of earth were meant to be ruled, but after that it went into standard cookie cutter action trailer. Rock music, over some explosions with a few quips from Tony Stark here and there. Overall, I think this is going to be a great movie, but the trailer didn't impress me. Still great to finally get some actual footage, and an idea for the over all tone of the movie.

@QuietStorm- Well, there hasn't been anything like this in a long time. Back in the black n' white days Universal's monsters all got together in several films together.

As for the trailer, I think it would have been a bit lacking without the Tony Stark lines. Best part was certainly Thor's laughing reaction to Tony.

I think the reason why there wasn't enough Hulk is because they're not done with all the effects for him yet. Can't wait to see some awesome scenes where he tears shit up.
