Promised with a brief promo last week, tabloid news show Entertainment Tonight has recently aired their "Set Visit" segment in anticipation of Marvel Studios' "best outing yet," The Avengers. Additionally offering an awesome sneak peek at tomorrow's big trailer, watch below!












Marvel Studios presents in association with Paramount Pictures “Marvel’s The Avengers”--the super hero team up of a lifetime, featuring iconic Marvel super heroes Iron Man, the Incredible Hulk, Thor, Captain America, Hawkeye and Black Widow. When an unexpected enemy emerges that threatens global safety and security, Nick Fury, Director of the international peacekeeping agency known as S.H.I.E.L.D., finds himself in need of a team to pull the world back from the brink of disaster. Spanning the globe, a daring recruitment effort begins.

Starring Robert Downey, Jr., Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner and Samuel L. Jackson, & directed by Joss Whedon from a screenplay by Joss Whedon, “Marvel’s The Avengers” is based on the ever-popular Marvel comic book series “The Avengers,” first published in 1963 and a comics institution ever since. I'm not seeing the whole TV cinematography hate all the 'critics' seem to have a gripe with. Honestly I think it fits the Avengers very well and from what we've seen seems to be a great fit for this type of movie.

I love how RDJ says he is constantly trying to get Banner to change into Hulk throughout the whole movie.. Lol Whedons dialogue btwn characters is gonna be awesome.. I can feel it.. Avengers Assemble!!

I'm just curious as to why exactly Kevin Feige allowed 3rd-Generation TV writer Joss Whedon film this in a TV-standard aspect ratio? Perhaps he's more comfortable for him? 1.85:1 "Flat" (sorta 16:9) is preferred by James Cameron for 3D. On Digital IMAX it'll fill the whole screen. But it just looks a little strange. To me. Especially with previous Marvel Studio films in 2.39:1 "Scope". I'm curious as to their thought process on the decision.
