Another batch of photos from the set of Batgirl have been shared online (via Batgirl Film News on Twitter), and while we still haven't caught a glimpse of star Leslie Grace suited-up as Gotham's other Caped Crusader, these latest pics might just tease some intriguing developments to come in the DCEU.

Several magazine covers were photographed during the shoot, and they spotlight a couple of very interesting Easter Eggs relating to the sinister Court of Owls and Gotham City journalist Vicki Vale, who was played by Kim Basinger in Tim Burton's Batman back in 1989.

This doesn't mean Vale and the Court of Owls will actually be introduced in Batgirl (or at all), but it would seem to confirm that they do exist in the DCEU, at least.

Check out the photos below, along with a snap of Grace having some fun with recently announced cast member Ethan Kai between takes. It looks like Barbara Gordon and Kai's mysterious character will be romantically linked.

Batgirl will also star J.K. Simmons as Jim Gordon, and Jacob Scipio and Brendan Fraser in undisclosed roles (the latter is believed to be playing the villainous Firefly). It's also been confirmed that Michael Keaton's Batman will appear.

Loki composer Natalie Holt recently announced that she's signed on to work on the movie's score, while Christina Hodson, who wrote Bumblebee and also worked on Birds of Prey and The Flash, penned the most recent draft of the script.

The HBO Max movie is being directed by Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah. No release date has been announced.
