Lindsay Lohan Is Campaigning To Play Barbara Gordon In Joss Whedon's BATGIRL Movie
Lindsay Lohan has been off the radar for quite some time, but it looks like the former child star is determined to revive her career and is now campaigning to play Batgirl in Joss Whedon's planned DC film.
Lindsay Lohan (The Parent Trap, Mean Girls) hasn't made a feature since 2013's critically panned The Canyons, but the 31-year-old former child star is hoping to revitalize her career with roles in upcoming independent film The Shadow Within and British sitcom, Sick Note.
However, there's a much bigger project that Lohan has her eye on.
The actress took to Twitter this morning to ask her followers if they think she should play Batgirl, and tagged director Joss Whedon while she was at it.
We haven't heard much about this one since it was first announced a few months ago, but as far as we know, Whedon is still on board and the movie is still on Warner Bros.' slate. Now that Walter Hamada has taken over as the new President of DC-based Film production, it remains to be seen if the project will be made a priority or not.
What do you guys think? Does Lohan's campaign have any chance of yielding a result? Do you think she'd make for a good Barbara Gordon? Sound off below.
