Executive producer James Tucker and director Rick Morales dish on working with Adam West, Burt Ward and Julie Newmar on the animated continuation of the Batman '66 legacy. If you're of a certain age, chances are the TV show was your first introduction to the beloved comic book character.

Times have certainly changed as the camp and comedy of that era and the Schumacher films have given way to the gritty realism of Christopher Nolan and Zack Snyder.

Still, there's something to be said for nostalgia.  If you're interested in checking out the film, it premieres this week on October 6 at NYCC.  before going on sale digitally on October 10.  Fathom Events is also holding limited North American screenings of the film for one-night only, also on October 10th.

As the Riddler might put it: When is an animated movie like a time machine? When it's Batman: Return of the Caped Crusaders! In this DC All Access animation clip, we talk to the director and supervising producer of this Batman '66-inspired original animated movie featuring the voice work of Adam West, Burt Ward and Julie Newmar. What was it like working with the original Batman? Which classic vehicles will we see in the film? And where the heck did they get the idea for the giant, deadly TV dinner? Look for the answers on the same Bat-channel! (That would be THIS one.)
