Is This Really the Bat-Voice?

My username on this website is "Arrowverse", so yes...I do pride myself on ALL comic knowledge including spoilers, leaks, set photos, etc... but moreso on those regarding the Arrowverse, so if I missed something and this speculation has been disproven already please kindly tell me in the comments below.

Since leak and subsiquent release of the Batman v. Superman trailer many fans have been polarized on their opinions of Ben Affleck's "Bat-Voice" if you have yet to see the trailer, or simply want a refresher on said voice, the trailer is below and the "voice" is heard at 1:39 mark...

As I mentioned, the voice has polarized people, some people claiming it is:

"The best 'bat-voice' yet" , whilst others have called it "terrible and too Robocop-like"

Before getting into my analysis, I would like to point out that IF this is the "Bat-Voice" I still find it miles ahead of Bales "I have a scratchy throat voice", but do agree...it seems strange and out of place for the character...he isn't using a voice modifier (or at least one that I have seen used in live action) to change or deepen his voice, but rather one that adds a robotic overlay...robotic overlay..robotoic overlay...

STOP and rewatch the scene where the voice says "Tell me, do you bleed?...you will..."?

Did anyone else see what Ben Affleck is NOT doing?... TALKING...yes, it could just be a voice over from another part of the movie, but it could also mean this is simply a red herrring and this is NOT his "Bat-Voice" at all...based on this I have come up with two conclusions, one I have seen a few times elsewhere, and one I have not...

1) It's just the Bat-Armor...watch this scene from Iron Man 1 from about 4:34 to 4:44

Note the change in Obadiah and Tony's voices both inside and outside of the armor...it could be just that simple, the voice is only the voice we hear whilst Ben/Bruce is in the Bat-Armor, not whislt he is rocking the traditional duds...

2) It ISN'T the Bat-Voice: For months a secondary villain has been rumored for Batman v. Superman, villians ranging from Doomsday, to Zod reborn, Metallo, Bizzarro...wait...Metallo??? The voice certainly did sound like that of a more mechanized being, could that be it? We know for a fact that Superman and Batman "shake hands" at some point in the movie (according to Cavill) so clearly they won't be fighting for its entirety...but what could it be that brings them together? That could also "make Superman bleed", talk, and isn't aware it can make Superman bleed?

-A "reborn" Zod would clearly know that he could make Kal-El bleed
-Doomsday wouldn't be able to utter sentence more complex then "RAHHH"
-Bizzarro would most definialtey not be able to structure a sentence so complex...

But Metallo? He certainly would have both the lack of Kryptonian body strucutre, and brain power to contstruct such a menacing sentence, and with Callan Mulvey rumored for months on end to be playing the role, who is to say this sentences placement isn't mere red herring? With Jesse Eisenberg seemingly playing the "pulls the strings" version of Luthor for now, Superman is certainly going to need a physical villian, and Batman and Superman (and Wonder Woman?) are certainly going to need a common threat that draws the three heroes together...

You can't tell if Ben Affleck is talking or not, but I do like the Metallo theory.

I hope it's the bat voice, not the sole bat voice. I hope it's the one he uses on common thugs, to intimidate and terrify people, creating the idea he is mythical force. But when speaking to super villains or Superman more casually, he drops the modulation in place of a more reserved voice.

"Is This Really the Bat-Voice?" Yes it is. You can hear Ben afflecks voice, even if only faintly through the filter.

It would be awesome if it were Metallo, he would be a perfect minor antagonist/ muscle that Luthor uses against both superman and Batman.

No, that's definitely Ben Affleck's speech pattern.

Personally I think the the voice modulator used in Arrow would be a good way to go. I think everyone can agree that Arrow did it right and I don't see why they couldn't employ the same thing for Batmans voice in Dawn of Justice.
