LEGO BATMAN Movie Casts 'The Joker' And It's Definitely Not Who You're Expecting
When it comes to a voice actor for The Joker, there's one person who pretty much everyone agrees is perfect for that role, and it's Star Wars: The Force Awakens' Mark Hamill. He won't be playing the character in LEGO Batman though, but you can find out who will be right here...
The Hollywood Reporter reveals that Zach Galifianakis is in final talks to bring a brick version of the Clown Prince of Crime to life in Warner Bros.' LEGO Batman movie. With Will Arnett reprising the role of the Caped Crusader from The LEGO Movie, it's clear that they're going for comedic actors when it comes to building this world as Michael Cera was recently chosen by WB to play Robin.
Galifianakis is an interesting choice for The Joker though, but as he's no stranger to playing somewhat unhinged characters, he should fit right in here. The movie is being produced by Dan Lin, Roy Lee, Phil Lord and Christopher Miller, while Chris McKay is directing from a script by Seth Grahame-Smith.
