HI Guys and haters,

I am going to keep this short and sweet. I think i finally cracked the matrix for fan hate and how fan logic works when it comes to favourite properties.

As you may know a sneak peek and a full trailer were released with Gotham and a Full Trailer debuted on Jimmy Kimmel Live on Wednesday. Now since then all we got is record breaking comments on the articles related to that trailer 50 pages of flame wars and cliches.

Now let me be a 100 % honest first as i know that the fanboys are coming (Frozen i am looking at you), i am not a Marvel/Disney fan, i don't understand a big portion of their movies at all.

What do i mean by that, what i mean is that i simply think that some of my favourite characters from Marvel Comics could have been handled a bit more respectful. I love movies, i have probably watched a billion movies and what i have realized is that a few remain in my heart and mind after decades pass.

What annoys me the most is how people that have no love for movies have adopted the MCU like a mentally challenged cousin (Shout out to Cinema Sins) and will go through hell to  proiive to anyone that is not impressed how good the MCU is.

Well guys, its all a matter of opinion, now the major problems i have with Disney is that where they shine (making the first comic book movie shared universe that is successfull in the box office), they have failed before - but to a Marvel fan boy everything else before that simply doesnt exist.

Believe me when i say that the list of Marvel movies made pre Iron Man 2008 is long and the picture is not pretty. You can bash Batman and Robin, Catwoman, Batman Forever and Green Lantern all you want, but you had your gems too( Captain America 1990, Fantastic Four All of them, DareDevil and Elektra (shared universe anyone?)).

Now the most annoying part is that as bad as DC movies have been at some point, they were produced using the same principal of Hollywood blockbusters 90s

X Studio has the rights
Y producer takes the franchise and starts development
Z director is choosen to shoot
Q actor is portraying the main character

In this formula the following is ussualy where things [frick] up, X and Y may or may not share a similar idea of where this should go, X wants a save bankable PG 13 movie for all people on the planet. THis is however not an option, as you can see even from the best box office movies, some countries will never crack and some markets will never be a big profit. not everyone on the planet cares about batman, Spiderman or Iron Man. Z and Y dont see eye to eye, this we think was the case with F4 as Z tweeted that he might have had a different direction, in any way that is a huge problem. This is  where thing go to hell, bad director for me is the worst but a controlled one is the second worst.

Now the  next one is Q decides he does 1 and 2 and skips  town on Z for the third, this doesnt make it seem very connected and part of the same universe does it?

This however were the CBM problems of the 90s, now as we can see even the non shared universe superhero movies had had success of keeping one actor to stay with the role for 3 movies (TDK).

Now we have had solo trilogies and superhero franchises for decades before MCU and DCEU, but as many of you know, not all of them make it. Why?

Well a few notes here, first of all, not every superhero has enough star power to dig in its own material, pull out 3 or more villains that are unique and be able  to keep the interest for 3 or more movies. Such cases we have a lot DareDevil  2003, Hulk 2003, Punisher 2004, Johan Hex 2010, Steel 1997, Green lantern 2011.

Yes some of those have had more than one movies, but they were either re-booted or being used in another franchise or completely killed of.

Lets not kid ourselves - a Hulk solo movie might be the hardest thing to do, in a solo franchise i would say its near impossible, in a shared universe there are many routes though.

You can pair him up with Thor as they did, you can make a Planet Hulk movie in space, since GOTG already opened that part of the MCU. But the main point is that Marvel were not smart for doing something that has existed in one form or another before, wheter its a comic book shared universe invented by DC or a movie shared universe invented by Universal. The smart move was that they realized that they cannot go the route of making 3 separate iron Man movies - stop , then make 3 separate Hulk movies and stop and so on for all their properties (owned by Disney). They reazlied that the crossover path has always been very intresting to people. Every type of assemble of different types of characters and powers has always drawn people in the comics, TV and media. I mean there were people that watched Power Rangers just to see them merge in this huge ass Robot.

That is the main power, reazling that and using it.

Now with DC, they knew that but we cant say the same for Warner Bros., they have seen the amounts one single Batman can pull in the 90s and 00s up untill now and they never wanted to put him in a movie with lets say Martian Manhunter from Mars and then have him battle Aliens, and we can totally dig that from a business stand point, but since we have had Batman for the 60s movie and TV show, a semi successfull franchise in the 90s, a winning animated show batman TAS that will forever be the best to ever do it along with X Men TAS in the 90s, a new fresh approach recently with Nolan's take TDK trilogy that gave us this hyper real Batman and 5 TV shows animated and live action all involving him and his rogues gallery - it has come upon them to say goodbye to his own world and let him share it.

I am happy that George MIllers JLA movie got the boot due to the strike back in the day and i am happy that BVS didnt make it in the 2000s.

I would watch a documentary about them but lets be real, with the visual FX Hollywood had to offer at that time, we would have gotten something silly, which would have lead to another re-boot.

Now to all you haters out there, you can brag about Marvel and their shared universe all you want all you want , the facts are Superman was the first superhero movie in the 80s to make big money , to use oscar winning actors for support cast (Marlon Brando anyone?) and to have fans have something to look forward besides reading the comics. This was further evolved in 89 by Burton who decided that the acting skills will have to go with the villain (Jack Nicholson), all of those aapproaches can be seen now in all of the companies MCU, DCEU , FOX MARVEL and SONY.

With Marvel the big success came from Spiderman and X Men, i would also add Blade which i still think its the first black superhero to make it big own movie franchise , not Steel , not Cyborg, not Black Panther - yes Blade !!!!

Now have i enjoyed those movies, hell yeah. Then you ask, why is it that i don't like the MCU ones. Well here is why, since they made a little money and reazlied the potential, they became this corporate minded Hollywood Studio, just like the ones that came before them and stood in their way to bring us the goodies.

How to tell when a company goes bad, they start choosing their talent more mathematically, look at all the casting rumors and directors and writters for the upcoming and phase 2 movies. They try to get someone, with little or no huge hits, that would  probably be cheaper - they know at this point that the movies may feature a 40 minute Hulk vs Thor fight and it would still make 800 Million because - Marvel. They are not willing to let the director lead the way into something really of beat (Edgar W. - Ant Man). They stopped seeing the potential of certain characters just to be on the safe bet. I mean how about Iron Man [frick]ing battle it out with the [frick]ing real Mandarin and Fin Fang Foom and spare me the [frick]ing corporate dude has a lot of money and power and is building suit or obtaining powers so he can stick it to Tony his rival from childhood or something HUH !!!

Can you imagine what movies they can make with all that money and success they are having, what are they afraid of losing the kids and families ?

Now dont get me wrong i am not a 100 % given up on them, CIVIL WAR looks like a very good beggining towards the change needed.

if the Russos dont get cooky like Joss W and dont [frick] up Infinity War, this might be their Big ReAmp chance.

Now i know that you all love your phase 1 and 2 movies, but most them all are either a wanna be Iron Man 1 or a wannabe Avengers + CA TWS with a sprinkle of GOTG.

Are they ok? Sure , of course if you enjoy them, even Iron man 2 is something you might like, if you are into corporate villains like Iron Monger, Justin Hammer, Aldrich Killian and YellowJacket  etc.

Here is where the problem is, a lot of people love to praise what's hot, the ones that do it for a living and work as bloggers, press, youtubers, run sites like this one - when they start using cliches as to why some DC movie is not good , it gets annoying.

Basically you watch the same trailer, you read some idiot's  comments that Doomsday look like Abomination from The Incredible Hulk and they talk about this on their Youtube channel for 9 weeks, when at some point they start to believe it.

Well Abomination does look like Doomsday in the IH Yes, what it doesnt look like its himself from the Marvel comics. at least do you research before spazzing in each god damn comment for each DC article.

Ouuu DC has humor now, ou so it didnt have humor in Superman 1 2 3 4 and Returns, Batman all 7 of them or MOS ???

The easy way is to align your opinion with every other crazy fan out there is the easy way out. Big trend is to hate MOS because

- its like Michael Bay;
- Superman is out of character for killing Zod;
- Destruction

So when its DC we see those made up crap, but when a CGi robot lifts an entire city and drops its from 20 miles, thats not destruction. Captain America TWS didnt look like Michael Bay ?? Superman is out character but when Loki kills half on New York and then is embraced bu Thor in the sequel and all is forgiven , because you know >> brothers. Iron Man created Ultron and [frick]ed up Sokovia,  no pro bro - he will create the accords in Civil War and be a good billionaire now. Winter Soldier has killed thousand of people during the years, mind controlled or not he belongs in jail, but he is friedns with the cap so he gets a pass ???

But Superman killing Zod, that [frick]ed up Downtown Metropolis should stay alive, so he can finish it and move to Gotham and so for..

How its annoying when DC does something , but when Marvel does it's somehow justified. So when we show Black Panther being at odds with everyone, War Machine possibly dead, The government at odds with Caps team, this is not spoiling the movie for you ? But when Doomsday shows up, which is known for a year now LOL , people are like " Damn there is no point of watching this movie, i know who the villains is !! So you expected knowingly JLA is coming that Batman is the villain and that the dawn of justice in the title is for him dying ??

Get yout shit together BVS is coming and SS is coming as well, WW is already shoting with JLA starting in January. So no they are not waiting on BVS to be a 2 Billion dollar movie to move forward.

its just that some Marvel fans are scared that , some critic may say BVS was better than Civil war , your 13th movie. Yes our 2nd movie might be better than your 13th , it might be worse. But just be honest and say " I dont like DC" , dont try to justify it with made up reasons from an unknown sources.

I am getting tired of fan girls complaining about shit, then they see Ben Affleck owns that so they make another complain about something else.

DCEU is two movies deep, as far as i remeber your two first attempts were average box office movies, one of which was below average . One with good reviews and one with mixed to bad reviews, so why are you comparing your 13th movie with DCEU's second one may i ask ??

Can you imagine our 13th movie, alternative earths, Darkseid defeated, you cant , but i can !!

So spare us the hate and chill.
