No “Robin,” Falcone and not the Holiday Killer, No one!

Gor-Levitt at the Rumor Mill. Also, Juno Temple: Robin doesn’t have to be called Robin.

Dick Grayson will not be in the upcoming Batman film the Dark Knight Rises. We will see Bat Girl, or a version of bat girl from Juno Temple. What do you call a girl who looks up to, is friends with, imitates and wants to be Batman? BAT GIRL! Will it be similar to Robin type characters of past comics? Yes, probably even playing off of the Batman Robin dynamic, Robin doesn’t have to be called Robin

Who do you put-up as Selina Kyle’s second love interest? Tom Hardy before or during his Bane growth-age, depending on how it is handle? More likely she will be caught between the Bat and a Joseph-Gordon Levitt. Falcone seems good for this, so do most of the rumor candidates. It does seem pretty Nolan to make him little Falcone; I wouldn’t necessarily right it off quite yet. Again perhaps we will not get the Falcone we have been expecting, and that is why we have dueling rumors (remember Robin but not really Robin). It would also be pretty Nolan to make a little Falcone who turns into say the Riddler or the Penguin. As we have been hearing about the Bane character, and if you have researched the character’s history a bit, Tom Hardy’s Bane will be a Nolan creation. It may be inspired by some of the potential of past comics, but Hardy’s description awkwardly fits around only a few of the old Bane storylines.

Finally, there has got to be a Batman Superman connection in the two films, however small, perhaps Gorbad-Levitt’s late and always assumed involvement relates to a small or medium role to connect the to films, in however small a way. And, remember, there is always hope, hope that Joseph Gordon-Levitt will not be in the movie at all!
