Possible TDKR Spoilers Regarding A Fight Between Bruce Wayne And Bane!

Hit the jump for some possible spoilers about a fight which reportedly takes place between Bruce Wayne and the villainous Bane in The Dark Knight Rises...

Thanks to a tip-off via Twitter, I was pointed in the direction of the following post by one of the users over at Batman-News. You can read more by clicking on the link below, but here is the comment.

I got some snaps of Wayne/Bane falling out of a window in a Croydon office block last night (2 June) Apparently this is a hospital set. A long wait for some ok shots.

Croydon was actually looking good too, who'd have thunk it?

Until this person posts the supposed photos, it's best to take the info with a pinch of salt. (as with any rumor) However, it certainly sounds plausible after the recent spoilers DCMarvelFreshman posted which claimed that Alfred would be hospitalised at some point. Could Bane be lying in wait for an unsuspecting Bruce Wayne after attacking Alfred? Be sure to share your thoughts and speculate in the usual place!

With an all star cast which includes Christian Bale as Bruce Wayne/Batman, Michael Caine as Alfred Pennyworth, Garly Oldman as Jim Gordon, Tom Hardy as Bane, Anne Hathaway as Selina Kyle, Joseph Gordon-Levitt as John Blake and Marion Cotillard as Miranda Tate, The Dark Knight Rises is set to be released on July 20, 2012!

Part of me's still in denial that we won't be seeing Nolan's version of The Riddler...

Michael Emmerson would've been perfect -

Im probably in the minority on this, but I don't want Batmans back to get broken. Let them fight, sure. Let Batman get hurt, sure. But if back gets broke, Bats is out of action for the rest of movie.

Even if it happens at the end, this is Nolans (and probably Bale's) last Batman. Let it end on a good note.

he'll be fine,he jumped out of 80 storey building & landed on a car roof while holding onto another person in the dark knight.

not a single scratch, thats the realism of nolans batman films.

If this movie makes like 20% more money than "The Dark Knight", are they really gonna reboot Batman? that is such a horrible idea.

Nice find dude, but bane isn't actually mentioned? I mean it's PROBABLY him providing this is accurate, but could be Catwoman? Someone else?

I'm sick and tired of people whining about that scene. Batman had his cape in wing mode as he and Rachel dropped, it slowed down the drop, HOWEVER it just wasnt shot in a good way to show it.

The fact most whiners tend to forget is that if two people dropped from that altitude they would reach the ground in 2 seconds and not take all that time dropping, the reason it took Batman and Rachel some time to hit the roof of the cab (which cushioned their landing)is that their drop speed had been reduced by his cape.

Unfortunately people got used to crappy movies where people take a long time to fall a distance they should cover in seconds like for instance Batman Forever where Batman jumps after Robin and Chase who seem to be falling forever a distance Batman had scaled earlier in seconds.

@Marvel72 - Yeah, that is definitely ONE of the "unrealistic" moments in the Nolan films. That, and the Joker being able to set up all the explosives in the hospital so quickly.

what puyguy said.. he wasnt on his batman suit and yeah breaks his back from the fall//

@WellDrawn Apart from him being completely the wrong kind of actor eg. not being a big enough name/ no one apart from Lost fans being interested in him, he would be perfect character wise. Just a shame it rarely works like that.

you can tell purely by the fact he is co starring in the tv show written by jonathon nolan that he isnt the calibre of the movies.

In the end the realism arguement is that the world nolans batman characters live in is our world (give or take a few name changes) there just happens to be "super" elements in it.

Unlike burtons world which was a fantasy version of real life with fantasy "super" elements added.

Thats all it is really

@kakarot so you'd prefer to have some meat-head wrestler who couldnt act for shit as bane, instead of the amazing Tom Hardy, who is [frick]ing huge now by the way, an ACTOR who is brilliant at what he does?
And do you think that MAYBE Nolan might have heard of a few little things like Camera Trickery or CGI? C'mon man, think about things

@MoumentheBatman cabs dont really cushion landings though, do they? I mean if I jumped off a skyscraper with fabric between my arms and legs, I'd be dead whether I landed on a car or the floor. It's just suspension of disbelief, it's a common tool in film. No need to justify it either, and I don't think Marvel72 meant it in a way that made the film look bad. It's that the films arent as realistic as people say, so it's perfectly possible in this film that elements like a Lazarus Pit or Bane being huge could actually appear

If Batman is wearing his Rubbermaid suit like we saw in Dark Knight, he should just bounce when he hits the ground! Maybe that rubber suit is actually good for something!

ACira: I certainly hope that you are right, and we will see camera trickery to make Hardy look larger and more imposing. I don't want to see a Bane that has to stand on tippytoes to look Batman in the eye.

@ MoumentheBatman

believe what you want,i think both legs would of been broken.

also in batman begins, when he goes into the bat cave for the first time & he asks alfred to join him.

the fumes of the bat shit would of killed him, even later on in film you could not stay down there with bats flying about, they shit all the time.

@Splenda: "Realistic" in a movie means "Could happen under these extreme circumstances".. not "Happens all the time"!

@ACira: I meant the roof of the cab reduced the impact a little after his wing cushioned their speed and the armor of his suit did the rest since he received most of the imapct... HOWEVER the scene wasnt executed as good as it should've been and could've been made better, I admit.

Batman: Knighfall: Broken Bat has to be perhaps the greatest story proving how amazing a hero batman really is.

TDK touches on the main theme of Knightfall 1: "Know Your Limits" — "BATMAN HAS NO LIMITS". Batman reaches his limit halfway through at the theme park and persevered, Bane was a bitch and had him wiped out by the end, THEN used venom unnecessarily as an insult.

It's funny after TDK, I said the only villain that could possibly top TDK is BANE. I hope it's incredibly emotional and by the end fans will tear up.

I know the builidng where they were filming. Didn't see any cast although there was a lot of lighting and rigging suspended outside one of the windows. On Thursday/Friday there was a lot of security and large 'Panavision' lorry round the back.

I LOVE Christopher Nolan's films. I truly do he and Snyder are my fav directors. The only issue I have is actually seeing the fight between bats and bane. All of the fight scenes in BB and TDK were quick cut edited, you couldn't see anything really. I want to actually see batman and bane brawl.
