TDKR And The Hobbit Trailers To Be Attached To Sherlock Holmes: A Game Of Shadows?

A very reliable source has revealed that the second theatrical trailer for The Dark Knight Rises and the first teaser for The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey is expected to be attached to Sherlock Holmes: A Game Of Shadows...

The ever reliable Jeff Sneider has taken to his Twitter account to tease a very interesting piece of information. It sounds as if we can expect to see not only the first full theatrical trailer for The Dark Knight Rises with Warner Bros. big Christmas release Sherlock Holmes: A Game Of Shadows, but also a teaser for Peter Jackson's The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey.

Of course, I think we all saw this coming, but it's still nice to have this sort of "confirmation" from such a reliable source! While there's nothing definite as of yet, the Variety writer is by no means unreliable, so it looks like 2011 still holds some very exciting times for us comic book movie fans.

STARRING:

Christian Bale as Bruce Wayne/Batman
Michael Caine as Alfred
Gary Oldman as Commissioner Jim Gordon
Morgan Freeman as Lucius Fox
Tom Hardy as Bane
Anne Hathaway as Selina Kyle/Catwoman
Joseph Gordon-Levitt as John Blake
Marion Cotillard as Miranda Tate
Josh Pence as Ra's Al Ghul

RELEASE DATE: July 20th, 2012

He said MAYBE oh The Hobbit.
Personally I think it will come out with Tintin.
Since Peter Jackson helped out with that movie, and it comes out closer to Christmas time like Andy Serkis said.

Epicness... but I'll wait for an online release.

Sherlock Holmes [2009] was incredibly boring.

TDKR was pretty much agiven, but I think The Avengers Trailer will be attached to it, because if you think beck to the first Sherlock Homes movie the Iron Man 2 trailer was attached to it, The reason is that RDJ is in both movies.

I leave the comment section alone for a while and some people still haven't changed haha. Pointless arguments etc. It never changes. I wish some people would read more and comment less, but those people love to flap their gums (or keyboards in this case). Maturity is rare around these parts. (But then again it's rare on the internet in general I suppose lol).

So when's the release date for Sherlock 2? I usually see the editors post dates for films at the end. I see Batman's, but not Sherlock's date (which is an important part to this article). Josh you failed me. *blank face* lol :P

My anticipation level of 2012 movies:

1. The Avengers, The Dark Knight Rises, The Amazing Spider-Man, and Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance. Why not?
2. Skyfall, can't wait to see more Bond.
3. Paradise Lost, just sounds too epic to be missed.
4. The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey, as I've just learned about how great the franchise was.

I can't seem to put G.I. Joe: Retaliation (yes, that), John Carter, Bourne Legacy, Prometheus, and Men in Black III in order...I'm going to see them all, but not as much anticipation as the ones I put in order above. And for the likes of Snow White and the Huntsman and the rest, I'll catch up with them if I had a chance - I won't regret it if I missed them either.

But anyway, bring on the trailers. :)
