We have already seen one fan-made poster for Mathew Modine's character in The Dark Knight Rises, now here are two more very impressive ones for the characters many consider to be the heart and soul of the franchise..

I think these character posters for Michael Cain's Alfred and Gary Oldman's Jim Gordon could easily pass as the real deal, and actually make me wish WB would realize some official ones..

Christopher Nolan's The Dark Knight Rises opens July 20th, and stars Christian Bale, Tom Hardy, Anne Hathaway, Gary Oldman, Morgan Freeman, Joseph Gordon Levitt and Marion Colltiard.

I've seen two posters featuring Alfred, and both feature him holding an umbrella. Can't blame them, though, as he looks best and most fitting in that pose, indeed. Cool stuffs.

I've said it so many times, but Gary Oldman as Gordon is what I think I'll miss most about this series. This film will be so bittersweet, on the one hand its a favourite series of mine and I don't want it to end, on the other hand I'm glad this version won't be milked to death and I'm intrigued and excited by the notion of a reboot and what it could bring to the table. Perhaps setting up a Justice League film?

Gary Oldman is a great actor. With his acting & the writing of the character, the character has grown progressively through each movie. The way he acts is different in each movie and you can see his growth.

He is the most underrated actor of our time.
