Christopher Nolan's 'The Dark Knight' is coming to Facebook via a new on-demand service being set up through a partnership with the WB and Facebook.

Facebook users will pay for the video with 30 Facebook credits which is equal to roughly $3 and you'll still have the ability to pause the movie, go full-screen, and continue with all your regular Facebook uses such as "Liking" your friends annoying status updates.

The downside is the video will only be available for purchase for a limited time (48 hours) but during that time you'll be able to watch it as many times as you want. I'm not sure if the 48 hours thing is just a trial run or if that will be the going rate once the service is fully set up.

Personally, I think it's another make money quick scheme from Facebook, and it's pointless for a couple reasons. 1, 'The Dark Knight' is an insanely popular movie and it's safe to say that the majority of fans already own the DVD, and 2, with the popularity of services like Netflix, I just cant see a lot of people using it.
