@TheBostonBatman
There was no silent Batman film, that was a hoax/elaborate fan-edit. The silent era lasted until the 1920s, Batman was created in 1939. The first Batman movie was a film serial in 1943.

I hope Nolan's comment wasn't out of context, because if it's true this movie is going to be really really good.

@Ramon big deal. It shows he is confident about the movie. Which is awesome. Gives me more faith. He meant biggest in terms of - concept, story, and layers. Deal with it.

@TheBostonBatman No, dude. Batman was created in the 40s (maybe late 30s). Nolan was talking big shit- granted, people act like he's the first director/actor to big-up his own shit, but no, there's no silent Batman film. We're at work having a good laugh but I must admit, Nolan's got balls for that.

All the retarded people bitching about nothing. Here is the full quote:

"The biggest one anyone's done since the silent era in truth, in technical terms"

He is talking about Heinz Field with all those extras and shooting over an 1 hour in IMAX. Everything he says is the truth.

This movie is going to be massive.

And so I'm guessing The Bat is shown earlier on (before Bane's arrival -- "peacetime") as Lucius tries to coax Bruce to return as Batman (who is truly convinced that they'll never need Batman again).

Yeah. The IMAX aspect is an incredible accomplishment. I commend the DP of any fictional narrative IMAX film for tackling such an enormous challenge.

The few things i think are pretty fascinating about the new 4 TDKR TV Spots are that..i notice people on here and on io9 are complaining that we're still a long ways away from the premiere and they're showing us a TON of footage.

I think it's awesome that they've shown us all of this, yet we haven't seen a single microsecond of Rahs Al Guhl and we still are completely in the dark about whether Joseph Gordon Levitt is something more than just John Blake-street cop.

almost looks like he is saying this is the 1st time a football stadium full of people has been in a move lmao.

my best guess for the most extras would be days of thunder,bad move but had more people in it than any football stadium can hold.(am football i mean.im not sure about soccer stadiums).

seems anybody could read between the lines and see this guy is full of himself.
