Following the news earlier today that Zack Snyder and Co. were scouting locations for a possible chase scene involving the Batmobile, Batman-News.com have shared an email local Detroit businesses recieved that lets them know where shooting of said scenes will be taking place. Strangley the community was only warned that a Helicopter would be flying low to the ground through the area. So if any of you fellow users live in the Detroit have patience as everything should return to normal on August 10th.

Take a look at the email!

Good afternoon Detroit.

Beginning Thursday, August 7 through Saturday, August 9, 2014, a project in the area will result in road closures that will affect access to the Financial District parking garage. The road closures will also cause intermittent access to Chrysler House, Federal Reserve and the Qube building entrances.

Road Closures

  • Fort Street from Griswold Street to Shelby Street will be closed on Thursday, August 7 to Saturday, August 9, 2014.
  • Congress Street from Woodward Avenue to Washington Boulevard will be closed on Saturday, August 9, 2014. Griswold Street from Lafayette Street to Larned Street will be closed on Saturday, August 9, 2014.
  • All streets will reopen on Sunday, August 10, 2014.

Financial District (Chrysler House) Parking Garage Entrance/Exit Closures

  • The Shelby Street entrance will be open on Thursday, August 7 and Friday, August 8, 2014. During this time Shelby Street will be converted for two way traffic from Lafayette Street to the parking garage entrance.
  • Due to the full closure of Shelby Street on Saturday, August 9, 2014, the Shelby Street entrance to the parking garage will be closed. Team members will need to use the Lafayette Street entrance/exit during this time. Normal operation will resume on Sunday, August 10, 2014.
  • Chrysler House, Federal Reserve and the Qube Entrance/Exit Intermittent Closures
  • Starting on Thursday, August 7 to Saturday, August 9, 2014, the Fort Street entrance/exits to both Chrysler House and Federal Reserve buildings will be closed intermittently for the project. Please use Griswold Street entrance for Chrysler House and the back/alley entrance for the Federal Reserve.
  • On Saturday, August 9, 2014, the south entrance/exit of the Qube on Griswold Street will also be closed intermittently. Please access the building using the Woodward Avenue entrances/exits.
  • Normal operation will resume on Sunday, August 10, 2014.

On Saturday, August 9, 2014, you may hear or see a helicopter flying low near Fort Street, please do not be alarmed.

As well, there will be clear directional signage posted during this time.

So what do you guys think? Are we finally going to get some leaked images and videos of the Batmobile in action? Let me know your thoughts in the comment section below!

In Warner Bros.' superhero followup to Man of Steel, Henry Cavill returns as Clark Kent aka Kal-El and must deal with the fallout from the World Engine attack from General Zod's Kryptonian army. Enter Ben Affleck’s “tired, weary and seasoned” Bruce Wayne. Scheming behind the scenes is Jessie Eisenberg's Lex Luthor, who's machinations could spell doom for Metropolis and Gotham's caped guardians. Wild cards at work include Diana of Themyscira aka Wonder Woman, played by Gal Gadot. And Victor Stone aka Cyborg, played by Ray Fisher. Zack Snyder directs from a script penned by Chris Terrio. Story by David S. Goyer. "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" is set to be released in theaters March 25, 2016.

We are not ready! There are still crack addicts and hookers in the streets! Who gave them permission to proceed?! Once they get rid of the lazy eyed hookers, then they can have their Batmobile fun.

You know this is special because they usually will only shut down the roads in Detroit when Gusto drives home from Micky's Irish Pub.

Eh...time to start checking out. The leaked footage from Dark Knight Rises with the Bat on a gimble was really lame, and I wish I'd simply waited for the actual film.
